Wow just phenomenal! The food was really good, fresh and unique! Ordered the 7 course combo plus two rolls. Everything was spectacular! The ambience, food, service all 10/10 can’t wait to go back, thank you to all the staff for hosting my wife and I to a special evening

The most delicious sushi I’ve ever had! Miku is one of my favourite places for sushi in Toronto. Their aburi salmon sushi is the best sushi I’ve ever had, it melts in your mouth, and with a strong combination of flavours. The restaurant itself is stunning and beautiful, the atmosphere was vibrant, making the overall environment great. The servers are always welcoming and friendly, making the experience even better. This is a must try place, would recommend, 10/10!

I ordered the 4 course set menu and it was delicious. I especially like the platter with 9 different types of sushi. Three stars because the service was incredibly slow. It took a while just to even order our first drinks. At one point we had ordered additional dishes, but they took so long to come that we had lost all momentum and I personally would have just cancelled my order in favour of grabbing the bill. Our server also kept getting interrupted/distracted by what appeared to be the manager.

I personally much prefer Miku in Vancouver. The several times I have been there, we have always had attentive service and the view and atmosphere are excellent.

The Seven Course Seasonal Tasting Menu ($175) is a celebratory indulgence. It started with a Wagyu Tartare with Canadian caviar and gold flake and ended with a Matcha Croissant Bread Pudding complete with ‘Happy Birthday’ and a candle.

The visual highlight of the courses was the Sashimi, a Chef’s selection of traditional and aburi style. The server came with a teapot of water, poured it into the serving dish creating a bed of billowing smoke that captured the attention of nearby diners.

My least favourite of the meal was the Waygu, sukiyaki-style. The sauce was overpowering and completely took over the flavour of the beef. I did enjoy the accompanying sweetbreads, wasabi giving a punch to its delicate flavour.

We shared a bottle of Dry-Hopped Awashizuku, a sparkling sake that went really well with the complex flavours of each dish. The service was friendly and presentation flawless. I don’t know how the server remembered all the components of each dish. It was impressive.

Bomb sushi! This place had melt in your mouth good dishes. They had a few things that I've not tried in the US. It was a nice fresh take on sushi. They do lunch and dinner menus that vary. I had lunch both times and was not disappointed. Definitely give this place a shot if you're in the area.
