We came on a Friday evening to Musoshin Ramen as a party of two to celebrate my friend's birthday. The service was fantastic. As soon as we sat down, we were served water. When we checked out the menu, we found the dishes we wanted to eat and had some questions before ordering. The waiter was knowledgeable and answered our questions and took our order. The food came out promptly, and it was so delicious! Both the meat-based and vegan broths were so delicious, and the noodles were chewy. The meats were grilled beautifully and with the special you get all 3 kinds: beef, chicken and pork which is really nice. The one thing both my friend and I appreciated was that the food came out hot, but not boiling hot to the point where we couldn't enjoy it right away. We got another vegan broth to go when leaving because my other friend, after hearing about how good it is, asked us to bring her food. The atmosphere was great, too. They had Japanese music playing in the background soft enough that you could hold a conversation with no problems. I can definitely see why this restaurant has been on the Michelin guide for the last 3 years.

As a Chef myself, I have eaten plenty of ramen in Toronto and have made my own. Here at Musoshin Ramen, the Chefs were very kind and welcoming. They made recommendations and were very knowledgeable about their menu and dishes. Their Chicken Karrage was fried slightly longer than my personal preference, but it was delicious nonetheless! Their Ramen was the real deal. Their broth was clear, rich, and fresh, signs of a solid broth. You could taste the quality of the ingredients used. Their noodles are made in-house, and they were delicious! I loved the subtle smoky flavour from the Chasu. It provided an additional element to the Ramen. This will definitely become my go-to Ramen restaurant! The Chefs have a beautiful story on their website, and I'm looking forward to trying their authentic Japanese desserts! This authentic Japanese Ramen restaurant is definitely worth checking out! 10/10. I can see why they're in the Michelin Guide for 2022, 2023, 2024. I bet they'll make it for 2025. Cheers!

We went in as a group of 5 and we were craving some hot broth amidst the cold winter.

I had the japanese curry ramen. The broth was thick, but i was really disappointed it didnt have any meat in it apart from tiny minced pork from the broth itself. I was just eating bare noodles for dinner. You could add meat on the side but it was extra $, and it’s already pretty expensive for just the ramen/broth on its own. We did have a side of pork but it was super fatty, i was just eating pure fat. We also had the ajitama ramen, it wasn’t that special.

I see that this is on the michelin guide. But for real, people need to stop hyping up ramen when it is just regular cheap fast food in Japan.

This place has had a Michelin recommendation for 3 years in a row.  It is very good. Make sure to order the strawberry mochi.  It's not a very big place so be prepared to wait.

Busy ramen spot (30-40 min wait). Only pork broth or vegan broth options. ~$20 for bowl of ramen. I went for the popular one. It was not very flavourful, honestly, and I needed a bunch of the spicy salt-thing to make it more enjoyable. I asked for extra veg. God if that was extra veg I don’t know what regular veg would have been - there was almost none in there. Friend got the fried chicken and it looked FIRE.

Unfortunately quite a long wait to order and get the ramen too. Wish the staff were a tad friendlier :(
