You will probably not get in here on a weekend without a reservation. This place is busy! The speakeasy theme is very fun and staff really lean into it. Our server (I think her name was Jenna) was so amazing. She was so friendly and explained the menu and drinks to us. Having that explanation of what something was going to taste like was really helpful because some of these drinks had VERY intense flavors. We ignored her advice once and ended up ordering a cocktail my friend didn't like, and she was really great in offering to help us modify it or switch it out for a different drink.

The food was good, though on the pricier side for the quantity you get. We got the gruyere (it was fine) and the creme brulee (it was great). I wouldn't recommend planning to have a meal here as the focus is really the drinks. The drink menu has a very diverse variety of flavors and ingredients, so don't be afraid ask your server for help!

Came here with a friend for a random girls' night out and been wanting to try this place for a long time already. Every time I've passed downtown, the outside area of this cocktail bar has always drawn me in with its unique concept.

Walking in was like being transported to another world and another time period. To be honest it's just a personal preference but the inside of the bar was not the same concept and was a bit too dark for me to enjoy or see anything that was in front of me.

The food wasn't anything special and while I do like their menu concept and drink descriptions, nothing really blew me away.

Overall, it's a cute place to visit but probably just not for me to visit again.

Loved the drinks so much. They were divine. The atmosphere was cozy, and intimate. We got the lobster roll to eat alongside our drinks and it was fantastic. The server we had was lovely, and described the drinks like experiences. She was very knowledgeable and friendly and personable. Would definitely recommend.

Prequel might be my new fav bar in town! Lots of drinks to choose from. They all tasted great!! Waited a bit for our table and they treated us with a free round of shots. What a nice surprise. The drinks are crafted so elegantly. Great for a fun night out with friends or even for a date night! I will definitely be back for more. Cheers!!! 🥂

We made a reservation for a Friday night and when we arrived, our table was ready.

They have beautiful decorations both in the waiting area and the seating area & the bar. One fun fact about this place is that y’their entrance is one-way; once you enter through the door, you cannot walk back and you have to exit from the other side (and come back again through the entrance). They also have 2-hour seating limit.

Their cocktails are beautiful and tasty. We tried “Lavender & Lemon”, “After 8”, “The Foreigner”, “Japanese Burnt Martini” and “Au Revoir Shoshana” and “Champagne & Absinthe”. All of them we liked.

We also ordered some shareable Hors D’ouvres: “Pommes Frites”, “Smoked Marinated Olives”, “Fried Chicken” and “Truffle Lobster Roll”. We enjoyed them all, but our favorite was Smoked Marinated Olives; really loved the smokey taste of it.

The vibe is really nice and the staff are friendly.
