So Asa live here! It was a good medium sized venue for intimate concerts. The floor is slanted so if you're standing further back, you're still seeing above most people's heads. (Awesome for us short folks) and there was green P parking very closeby which is a plus

The washrooms need work, and they lack adequate ventilation.
The Game Expo was great. The floor plan could have been organized better. The area where the gamming took place, I found it too bright and not immersive immersive enough.

Great venue. The lobby bar is spacious and comfortable. Saw Magnetic Fields and sound quality was terrific.

The show was Neck Deep, I only really went to see the opener 'The Home Team', they were great. Venue was okay, bathrooms were gross, and it was extremely hot, they need to install some central air, or just an industrial AC on the roof vented to the auditorium.

I wish to leave this post as immediate testomony to as to what took place at queen Elizabeth theatre on the wed Aug the 7th 2025 at 9pm at the event "The dreamverse: young stunners & friends." For which I had legally obtained rights to entry by virtue of purchasing a ticket to attend (attached). I had gained entrance to the event and was inside the show and was waiting for the show to start with a friend and his wife. We decided to step outside for a cigarette and some fresh air, but got separated as we left. When I reached the exit my friend has already exited the premises. I witnessed some commotion at the gate as I exited and thought better than to risk being caught in the rush and thought to reagin entry back the way I had come out. I decided to speak with the man at the door who seemed to be a manager of the opeartion. This man was a white male about 5'10" tall. He was wearing baseball hat and a grey shirt (I learned later from other staff that he was the general manager of security). As I asked this person the question of how to get back inside, he said that I must leave and gestured for me to exit (I request access to the video tapes that corroborate this as evidence). I said that I would prefer to just go back the way I had come out as that was the reason I had come to speak with him in the first place. At this point he inexplicably lost his temper in a manner that bordered on abusive and violently pushed me to exit. I stood my ground and demanded rentry by the same door by which I had exited. he refused and pushed me physically to deny entry. At this point he said the words, "I'm not letting you in, you're done." And signaled to security to escort me out. As they came and also physically acosted me without any cause, I demanded that I be allowed to speak with the person that was demanding my exit. I managed to get the opportunity to address the man who had asked to have me removed, and explained to him that I was simply asking to return back to the event for which he had witnessed me exit without being denied entry. He signaled at this point to the security gentlemen to physically remove me. At this point absolutely devastated by the manner in which I was being treated I looked back at the man, directly in his eyes and yelled, "why are you doing this etc." I am appalled and shocked at this treatment and intend to press charges on the management of the event. As stated at the onset this is my immediate testimony that I am recording so that it may be part of the record. I request that a representative of the venue reach out to me to provide their side of events and discuss how evidence will be shared. I will add that as I sat outside and wrote this testimony several members of the staff offered their regrets on how I was treated and offered me water to drink. To this I am deeply grateful.

I was recently here for a stand up comedy show. I've been the Exhibition Grounds many times in the past but never had any events in the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Unfortunately it doesn't share much grandeur with Her Majesty. It's a bit dated on the inside. There isn't a ton of space in the entrance but that's where the concessions are, so it makes for a lot of congestion. The washroom seemed clean enough but it smelled horribly. There wasn't much airflow in there. There also are a set of stairs that you have to go down to get to the restroom, at least on the women's side. Not sure if there is an accessibility option. As for the actual theatre, it isn't that large so the view isn't bad. The seats are smartly sloped so it's not the worst if there's someone sitting in front of you. The acoustics for the comedy show were on point and there was never any issues hearing. The seats themselves were pretty comfortable. It was narrow but not horrible, some movie theaters are worse. You do have to get up to let someone by though, there isn't quite enough room to let them scooch by. Same kind of complaint though, it's a bit older and mustier in there.

I really enjoyed the "Jazz is Dead" show that we went to on a Sunday evening. What was the most impressive about it was the size, wow it's really huge. It seems almost square in size instead of being a narrow space, it's super wide where you almost can't see the opposite side. And the stage is equally wide. It's the size of one of those gigantic stages they have for big outdoor events. Unbelievable how many people could be on there at the same time. The lobby is equally gigantic. The ceiling height is massive and there are stairs that lead from the lobby up to a second level that looked to be leading to balcony seats. We asked about that and turns out there's a nightclub up there! The place is so big that you wouldn't even know that unless someone clued you in. The other thing that was equally impressive is the sound quality, probably because of the space, but regardless, I've never heard sound that clear from a rock band, except maybe that high end places like the Glenn Gould Studio. Very clear sound without echoing and obviously capable equipment to make that happen. Security was pretty casual, and we were able to smuggle in flasks since beers are about $15 each so it made sense to bring some of your own in to make it more fun if it's a rockin' type of show. Highly recommended!

Went to Queen Elizabeth Theatre to attend the Scandal Concert back in the summer time. The staff was very organized with getting everyone into the concert. The seats were super comfortable and I was able to see the stage well from my seat.

I worked three different summers at the Canadian National Exhibition in my high school and undergraduate years. I visited and walked by the Queen Elizabeth Building countless times. How come I never knew about the Queen Elizabeth Theatre until I booked ticket to see Erasure at this venue?! I drove down there on a Tuesday evening. It was pouring rain. I saw some staff members on strike in front of the venue. I was also trying to figure out where to park. Finally, I pulled into a lot across from BMO Field's gate 4. I spoke to a friendly woman who said that parking was $12. Credit cards are accepted. I was thrilled. I parked and walked over to the theatre. Apparently, this theatre has been there since 1956 and was renovated as a concert venue in 2010. After you go through security (I opened my purse up and had the security guy peruse), the lobby greats you. It is cozy and inviting. You can grab a drink from the bar and sit down in a comfy chair. The doors to the theatre opened and we all walked in. It was my first time at the venue. I got help with getting to the right row and seats. There isn't a bad seat in the house. The acoustics were great. It's an intimate venue. It does get a bit stuffy when it's hot and humid outside, though. Perhaps the combination of other Erasure fans being there and all of us dancing made the theatre's temperature rise. I had a terrific time seeing Erasure. It had been a decade since I last saw this duo. Although there are roughly eight stalls in the women's washroom, expect a wait. Otherwise, it's a great place to see a show. (289)

A cherished roller skating rink of the 90s and a high school auditorium vlended vibe greeted my husband and I as we entered the venue. Great sound and a delightfully genial staff. Would cross the border for another show in the future.

This theatre is spacious and accommodating, but it is a bit out of the way. It's a long train ride, and there's no real restaurants or bars around the area. There's no balcony, but it raises nicely towards the back. They have a full bar and some random snacks. The chairs can be somewhat uncomfortable for a tall person. Great acoustics. You can hear in any part of theatre clearly.

If your looking for a small intimate venue this is a good place to go. We saw David Gray in concert. Pros: small venue with good views from all seats. Sound system for a small theater isn't bad either. Could hear the whole concert well and did not need ear plugs. Con: we had to wait outside to get in and luckily it wasn't bad weather. Would not want to have to wait in line in bad weather. Chairs are uncomfortable and outdated. Some people even had to sit on metal folding chairs and you can't tell what kind of seat you will have until you get there. Line for refreshments was crazy and you couldn't tell which was the snack line and which was the drink line. I would return because I like the small venue vibe but this place needs a serious update!!

Organization for shows was completely unprofessional. Bought a VIP ticket to a show for 250CAD. Parties become separated because the seating is not well thought out and is assigned. For a rock show, with such expensive tickets, seating should be first come first serve for VIP AT LEAST. Also, there was no option to pick my seat. For example, if you are coming in a party of 5 with all VIP, is 1 person expected to pay 250CAD for each ticket so the seats are together? When I arrived at the venue, I asked the bartender about their ciders and beer, and the alcohol percentages in a few selections. He cut me off multiple times and rolled his eyes at me. Completely unfriendly. People who come to international shows are not spending money at this venue, their airfare, and lodging to support the paychecks of employees who treat them like nuisance garbage. I want to support my favorite artists, but if I can help it, I will not be back to this venue. If I do come to this venue, I will not approach the venue staff because I am sure I will not be treated with basic human respect. The band staff has made a much better impression on me than the staff of this venue, which is sad because they are working in their own element. Edit: After further observation, I realized the 2 bartenders present were dating due to engaging in amorous activity in front of guests. I believe the Male bartender was so crass because his partner was there. I do not expect to be treated like I am in high school when I spend money at an establishment; especially when I am tipping the person out of common courtesy.
