A group of 8 of us tried our Murdoch mysteries, and it was SO. SO. GOOD. the best escape room I’ve done hands down, actors are fantastic, game is designed amazingly well. We didn’t escape but we left feeling very satisfied and happy!

We had a great experience with the Bootleggers escape room! The actors were great and it was a fun experience accessing parts of Casa Loma that you can't with a regular visit

I DID THE MURDOCH MYSTERIES ESCAPE ROOM AND IT WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!! The clues were really clever and fun and the actors/staff were amazing. We didn’t beat the game but we came close! You don’t really need to know the show to figure out the clues but if you’re a fan it’s SO COOL!! definitely recommend for fans of murdoch mysteries or even random people who like cool and challenging escape rooms!

I scheduled a team building escape room private event recently with Secret City. The staff went above and beyond my expectations. They helped me pick the best escape room for my team size, and helped me rework my reservation at the last minute. The location and live actors gave a very rich experience. You truly felt like you were in the scenario. My team had a blast and we learned about working in a team. Thank you, Secret City!

They canceled our prepaid booking due to weather (completely understandable) and asked us to contact them to reschedule or get a refund (also reasonable). However, it’s impossible to get ahold of them by phone or email. I have called about 8 times and sent 2 emails with no response.

The booking was part of a birthday celebration and someone took time off to fly into Toronto so the cancellation was definitely disappointing but not their fault. To then not be able to reschedule or even contact anyone IS their fault though.

I don’t like leaving reviews for things that are one offs and not necessarily representative of the service provided. I will remove/edit this review when/if I am contacted by Secret City.
