Set as a typical British pub and fulfills that promise. Nothing special, but reliably decent.

FOOD:
I started with a standard Caesar salad, which was exactly as you would expect. Well prepared with homemade dressing and nice meaty pieces of bacon. For the main, I had a dinner roast, which was rather small for my liking, but quite tasty. Finally, I finished with chocolate torte that was incredibly rich, but balanced in sweetness. All in all, the food was okay, but I did not think there was something special here.

SERVICE:
The service was good and attentive. They brought everything on time and were very polite.

ATMO:
The atmosphere was okay. A bit stuffy, a bit corporate, a bit small. But I suppose that’s what a pub is like in London?!

Good place. Not great. But reliably good.

Tucked away in the corner of Scotiabank tower is this cosy gem. If you enter via the tower (and the back door) it feels like you've arrived at a private bar.  I didn't walk all the way around but it feels quite a small place and the odd layout adds to the charm. With a good selection of ales, I went for the scotch egg as an appetizer, which was fantastic. Initially it tasted a little salty, but when adding the piccalilli, it was a perfect blend of sweet and salty. For my main, I selected the Butter chicken half Cornish hen which was good. I really enjoyed the mint dressing, but the chicken was a little on the dry side. Finally, we decided to share the sticky toffee pudding and while the flavor was great, I would have said this was more like a sticky toffee 'crumble'. Definitely worth trying if you are in the financial district.

Great experience here! I was pleasantly surprised not to have to wait for a table at 7pm on a Friday night with no reservation. We had the Winterlicious menu ($55/pp), would definitely return! The proper caeser salad is fresh with delicious, big chunks of bacon. My partner had the roast chicken, which had perfectly crispy skin, and the vegetables and gravy were incredibly tasty. I had the petit roast dinner, which is otherwise only served on Saturdays, and it was wonderful - the roast beef was medium rare and tender with crispy, golden roast potatoes (if I could, I'd order an entire plate of just these potatoes), roasted brussels sprouts and mashed swede (rutabaga) which I don't usually like but of course theirs was delicious. It's served with gravy, seasoned sour cream, and a popover style Yorkshire pudding which was impressively puffy. For dessert we had the pineapple upsidedown down cake (Winterlicious only, very tasty, the coconut icecream on the side made a great pairing), and sticky toffee pudding (this is the best sticky toffee pudding I've had in the city, and would definitely return just for this!). The portions were all very generous, we left completely stuffed!

Cocktails are all very well done, the ambience is very cozy (nice for a bitterly cold Winter's night), though be aware of a set of narrow stairs to enter from through Scotia plaza, since their front entrance was closed due to the season (looks like it gets slippery and iced over in the winter). Our server Dennis was an absolute joy on top of a wonderful dinner, providing efficient service with friendly conversation. Thanks for a great experience!

While the service was friendly, it felt rushed, particularly during the peak dinner hour. A minor oversight occurred when our birthday celebration request was missed, a detail that could have enhanced the special occasion.

The salad was fresh and tasty. The steak was well prepared, and the herb butter added a delightful flavour. However, the steak pie was a bit disappointing. The meat was more braised than expected, and the generous portion of mashed potatoes overshadowed the filling.

For dessert, the chocolate pudding was rich and decadent, though perhaps a bit too dense. The sticky toffee pudding was good, but a few additional pieces of date would have elevated the flavour.

Overall, the Rabbit Hole is a decent dining experience, but it doesn't quite live up to the expectations associated with an Oliver & Bonacini restaurant. The prices are higher than anticipated, and the overall experience could be improved with more attentive service and a few tweaks to the menu.

Wonderful service, flavourful delicious creative food a unique fun cocktails! Monami served us on the patio, she was so lovely. Very attentive and knowledgeable, perfectly present and available without being obtrusive. The salt and vinegar chips were so flavourful. The Risotto though, oh my gosh it was insane. Every bite a different fresh delicious flavour. Happy hour is a great deal for their lovely cocktails

Våra drinkar och appies var fantastisk Peter var stor server. Bästa vi har haft i Toronto hittills. Tack för att du inte behövde leta upp honom!

Min make och jag kom hit för middag en natt medan vi bodde i Toronto. Vi njöt av varsin Adelaide Pimm's, och till mat fick min fru Rabbit Hole Sliders och jag njöt av Fried Chicken Sliders. Båda "snacks" var läckra och vi skulle definitivt få dem igen om vi får gå tillbaka. Vi gjorde en enkel bokning på nätet så det fanns ingen väntetid för ett bord och vi satt på utsidan uteplats. Uteplatsen är täckt så att du kan njuta av en plats även om det regnar, vilket var trevligt. Atmosfären var avslappnad men platsen är inte tillgänglig. Om jag satt i rullstol tror jag inte att jag kunde ha njutit av denna plats som även uteserveringen var tillgänglig med trappor. Om det finns en hiss för att komma åt restaurangen är jag omedveten om detta. Den främsta anledningen till att jag ger 4 stjärnor är att halvvägs genom vår måltid vår server kontrolleras på oss och sedan försvann. Vi satt en stund och hoppades att någon skulle komma fram till vårt bord - vi hade tänkt hämta mer dryck och mat - men ingen gjorde det. Mycket svårt att säga om restaurangen var underbemannad, om vår server gick på en paus och ingen plockade upp vårt bord eller om detta var en kultur sak där vi behövde flagga någon ner för att be om ytterligare Service. Fram till dess hade vår servitör varit mycket uppmärksam och trevlig så jag är verkligen inte säker.

Mycket tråkig upplevelse i alla avseenden. Maten var exceptionellt dålig. Servicen var entusiastisk och vänlig men saknade kunskap och skicklighet.

Bra mat och Service. Hamburgare kan vara den bästa i centrum. Riktigt test var te faktiskt serveras i en riktig tekanna. Trappor gör tillgängligheten lite mer utmanande för vissa

Mycket bra upplevelse. Fish and chips var generöst portionerade och välsmakande (särskilt tartarsåsen). Mina vänner gillade verkligen deras kycklingpaj och crumpets. Servicen var snabb och uppmärksam.

Trevligt välkomnande, bra personal, bra koncept svikit av maten. Allt var betydligt överkokt eller till och med bränt (utom salladen): ( Ta en drink där istället.

Cocktail klockan och vi vandrade in i kaninhålet. Bra cocktail urval och gärna anpassa. Härlig upphöjd uteplats och bankande låtar. Personalen är super vänlig och uppmärksam. Vi hade bara drinkar men det var alla absolut första klass.

Det här stället är fantastiskt! Uteplatsen är skuggad, täckt och bara vacker. Inomhus är mycket mysig och varje enskild maträtt vi provade var helt utsökt. Inget dåligt att säga om det här stället. Personalen är så trevlig!

Otrolig och kunnig personal, så tillmötesgående mot min vitlök och lökallergi. Drink förslag och service av Megan och hennes chef var top notch. Mattemperaturen var trevlig och varm, utsökt, och bra presentation. Mysig atmosfär med grymt låg musik i bakgrunden. Uteplats eller innerplats. Allt var 10 / 10 och jag kan inte vänta med att gå tillbaka!

Stannade till vid Kaninhålet innan jag åkte till teatern. Detta är ett utmärkt centrum läge i Scotia building , luncherna är upptagen som företags publiken äter där men vi hittade ett utrymme i baren. Vår server/barman Caleb var exceptionell och mycket uppmärksam. Vi beställde den dagliga specialen, en enkel korvsmörgås och pommes frites som var utsökt. Personalen är alla fantastiska och atmosfären är stor. Ett måste sluta om downtown.

Underväldigad Efter att ha känt till denna restaurang och velat prova den; Winterlicious händer och det verkade vara rätt tid att prova. Rätt av, platsen var humming av aktivitet och det är alltid bra att se. Det blev mycket uppenbart, mycket snart att platsen var FÖR BULLRIGA. Jag skulle föreslå att den höga musiken var sådan att middagarna måste slutföras med att höras så att de som ett resultat, talade för att ladda för att höras. Jag satt mittemot min matpartner och det var exceptionellt svårt att höra. Försök att stänga av musiken; det skadar inte atmosfären och gör dina middagar mycket mindre oroliga och behöver inte praktiskt taget skrika för att höras. Winterlicious lunchmeny var kreativ, med ett bra urval. Ontario fläskpastej med treacle bröd var exceptionell. Med ett ord perfekt! Mycket trevlig, följt av fish and chips som hade några härliga inslag såsom förkolnad citron. Vit fisken var härlig; det verkade bara inte vara rätt typ eller snitt för att användas för smetad fisk. Den var tunn och gick sönder helt. Jag gillar inte chips, så de knuffades åt sidan. Jag vet; du tänker varför beställa fish and chips om du inte vill ha chips – ja jag gillar fisk och jag antar att om chipsen var något speciellt, kanske jag hade njutit av lite. De mossiga ärtorna och tartarsåsen var fina tillskott. Klibbig kola pudding och ananas upp och ner tårta var mest njutbar. Kaffekoppen som serverades min partner var kall och bitter och måste skickas tillbaka. Mitt te var svagt, men uthärdligt. Servicen var uppmärksam, artig och väl - orkestrerade. Mitt övergripande intryck är att jag var underväldigad. Kanske ett fall av att ha byggt upp någon nivå av förväntningar som skulle bli svårt att uppfylla, och inte uppfylldes. Det värsta var bullret och det var en lättnad att äntligen lämna. Jag känner inte att jag skulle återvända. Och jag känner inte att jag skulle ta hit min myriad av brittiska vänner från Storbritannien, jag tror att jag skulle skämmas över deras fynd. Det skulle inte alls vara lämpligt att påstå att detta var det bästa Kanada kan göra med brittisk mat.

Kom hit för vänner för ett middagsfirande. Personalen var mycket hjälpsam och mycket vänlig. Övergripande atmosfär är stor - de har en stor uteplats.

Min familj var på besök från USA så vi bestämde oss för att ge denna restaurang ett försök. Atmosfären på stället var ganska bra, men servicen var extremt långsam och maten vi beställde var inte ens värt att vänta. Vi hade bara en 2 rätters måltid men det tog oss 2 timmar att avsluta på grund av hur lång tid det tog dem att servera mat. Vi beställde biff och svamppaj som hade en bitter eftersmak. Jag var inte säker på om det var såsen som smakade bränt eller pajfyllningen, men jag kommer definitivt inte rekommendera det. Min bror beställde fish and chips vilket var ‘okej’ enligt honom. Sammantaget rekommenderar vi inte denna plats. Spara dina pengar och gå någon annanstans

Ute på middag med vänner. Vi provade alla fixe prix menyn, och njöt av sallad, biff och ale paj, och desserter. Snabbt att få vårt bord, och vi hade drinkar och vatten inom några minuter. Ingen brådska att beställa eftersom vi väntade på en annan person. När de väl kom, tog vi våra order. Sallader kom i en bra tid, och elnätet följde i ett bra tempo, inget rusade. Kaffe och desserter var bra, och te i en kanna var en trevlig touch. Kommer att gå tillbaka och prova andra objekt för säker. Bra tid, inte för bullriga, kanske medium, men vi kunde höra varandra.

Det är svårt att veta var man ska börja med bristerna i denna restaurang, särskilt om man har något intresse av faktisk mat. Det är en bar maskerad som en restaurang, till synes avsedd för ungdomar med redan oåterkalleligen skadade trumhinnor. Lockade av O:ets och vara-kedjans rykte träffades vi av en vägg av ljud, mycket av det kom från bultande musik, men när vi satte oss var musiken nästan överväldigad av drycken - underblåsta utbrott av gruppen unga män vid ett angränsande bord. Vi beställde vårrisotto (23 dollar) och biff- och svamppaj (28 dollar). Den förra ansågs ”tolerabel” av min fru, låt oss säga 5 av 10 på en numerisk skala. Min biff och svamppaj såg ytligt ganska aptitlig ut. Det kom med en stor klick potatismos balanserat, av någon konstig anledning, på toppen av pajskorpan, tillsammans med en såsbåt. När man hade tagit bort potatisen till ett mindre osäkert läge och lyft av toppen av den mycket tjocka skorpan, avslöjades innehållet: en slammig röra som, även om den smakade ganska välsmakande, innehöll lite identifierbar som svamp och mindre identifierbar som biff. Den hade inget som helst samband med den traditionella brittiska rätten, som innehöll riktiga köttbitar, som den var avsedd att framkalla: kort sagt en parodi på en biffpaj. Våra önskemål om att musiken skulle skruvas ner så att vi faktiskt kunde samtala med varandra resulterade i en liten minskning av kakafonin för en minut eller två, men det var snart tillbaka till maximal decibel igen. Naturligtvis åt vi och sprang, så kan inte kommentera desserter. Om du är under 40 , inte bryr dig om mat, arbetar i området och vill ha någonstans att dricka efter jobbet, är detta lika bra som otaliga andra ställen i centrala Toronto. Om du vill ha genuint god mat, spring en mil. Vinet (sauvignon blanc, $ 16 ) och 16 oz öl ($ 9 . 25 ) var ungefär samma som på någon downtown bar. Servicen var bra. Den lägsta dricksprocenten som erbjöds på maskinen var 18 %. Vi gick och önskade att vi hade ätit hemma.
