I recently stayed here, and my experience was incredibly disappointing to say the least. The hotel was hosting a furry event during my stay, which made the entire atmosphere feel unwelcoming, uncomfortable, and downright unsettling. The presence of individuals in full-costume, often in large groups, was intimidating, and I genuinely felt unsafe at times. It’s worth noting that this event is certainly not appropriate for children — in fact, it felt far from being a family-friendly environment.

The elevators were a disaster, consistently overcrowded with attendees, making it difficult to even get in or out. This created a real safety concern, as the cramped conditions left little room to maneuver, and the risk of accidents was high. It was hard to get any peace or privacy, as the hotel felt chaotic, and I had no sense of security during my time there.

I would not recommend this hotel for families or anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay. It’s clear that the hotel’s focus was on catering to a niche event, without considering the comfort and safety of all guests. I won’t be returning to this hotel again. Absolutely the worst place I’ve ever stayed at. Will be in touch with head quarters and will be emailing every member on the board.

My son and I flew in from Minnesota to watch the Maple Leafs game, they won so that was exciting but our hotel stay was exceptional! The beds are hands down the most comfortable beds I've ever experienced in a hotel! The shower heads are like heaven! The food from room service was very good and the location was incredible!! Watching the sunrise over the harbour was beautiful,  we were within walking distance to get to the hockey game, the CN tower and the aquarium.  There is a Tim Hortons right across the street and the staff was incredibly helpful.  Very clean and smells amazing everywhere you go.

Great Stay with Exceptional Service and a Beautiful View!

I recently stayed at this hotel and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The service was truly amazing — the staff were friendly and smiling all the time.
The highlight, however, was the view from our room. We had a stunning view of the lake, and the sunset was absolutely breathtaking.

That being said, there were a couple of things that could have been better. The room wasn’t as clean as I would have hoped — the floor was a bit dusty, especially in the hidden spots, which was a little disappointing. Additionally, we came down to to have at dinner at the hotel restaurant but the service wasn’t that great, it could use some improvement. We walked in and had to wait over 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged us, but once seated, the waiter was very kind and he even offered us a lovely cake to celebrate our anniversary, which was a sweet gesture.

Despite these minor issues, I would definitely recommend this hotel for its amazing staff, fantastic view, and overall positive atmosphere. We had a great time and would return in the future!

Everything was fine except the elevators are an absolute joke. Only 2 working elevators that are super small and you need to wait for 15+ minutes going up or down. Once you finally get on an elevator you will stop at every single floor as it is just so packed and everyone is trying to get on the elevator. I climbed 32 flights of stairs as that was more efficient than waiting and taking the elevator. It is extremely inefficient and ruined the entire experience.

First time guest at the Harbour Castle . Will be happy to return. Great location. Easy valet and check in. Great facilities (pool , fitness ECT) and my favorite part was the buffet breakfast at Mizzen. Shout out to James who took great care of us.  I think I found my new downtown t.o go to hotel

The location for this hotel is perfect. Great location, good services, bikes for hotel customer (free for gold members) and back door take you to the dock. Although the interior is a bit outdated, the hotel is on its way to renovate. We had a little bit problem with the noise from old pipes and hotel accommodated somehow for the problem we had. The breakfast choice are one of the best in the hotels in America. I love their overnight oats, omelette station and choice of fresh fruits.

Great waterfront property. The elevators are being refreshed and so the wait was sometimes really long. That plus the price point and the lack of any kind of breakfast included lost a star. That said, service was excellent as expected. The room was very nice and beds comfortable. Our room had a view of the water even on the city side. Not sure the mini fridge ever got cool though. The shower needs updating and took a while to get hot. However, the room was very clean and can't beat the location. Tons of amenities for everyone including a great pool and family area.

I attended a conference at Westin Harbour Castle and it was well-organized. The lobby is specious with a bar and cafe, suitable for between sessions hang-outs. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Conference rooms were perfectly signed and a technician was available for any technological assistance. The breakfast buffet included warm and cold options, fruits, cornflakes, pastries, coffee and tea; both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options.

This place is massive! Between its size and the construction navigating around was a bit challenging but we figured it out. Great location. One of the comfiest beds I've slept in. Really lovely housekeeping staff. Great view from the room and we had a great deal on our booking. Our only other complaint is that the elevators seemed to only be working half the time which caused some long waits and long queues. Other than that we had a lovely time.

Perfect location, huge hotel yet every single staff member we encountered was courteous and helpful! Such a great setting by the water, AMAZING breakfast at the Mizzen hotel restaurant, beautiful views of the lake from a very comfortable and accommodating room. Lots of activity in the lobby with a cute shop selling souvenirs and last-minute essentials.

My partner and I were passing through Toronto for the weekend and decided to stay at the Westin Harbour Castle. It was a fun location right on the water, and we had a great view from our room. Although the rooms are somewhat dated and in need of renovation, it wasn't a bad spot overall. I used the gym and sauna, which were excellent facilities. The location was convenient for both reaching the hotel and exploring the city. While I'm not sure if we would choose the same hotel for our next visit, we overall had a pleasant experience.

Hotel is located in the heart of downtown Toronto. The rooms are spacious and come with microwave and refrigerators which is a plus. Fitness area and indoor pools look top knotch. We tried the hotel restaurant which was amazingly delicious. The chicken wings were tasty and you get a lot. Salmon and burger was cooked to perfection.

I used the option for airport parking and I was very impressed. I payed approx. $85 USD for 8 days of parking. That was a steal compared to other options on the same road. I really appreciated the ease of the process. We simply pulled in and parked. We entered the hotel from the rear entrance and walked up to the front to desk to arrange our ride to the airport. They needed some basic information that took about 5 minutes and we were on our way. It was great. When we came back, I called the hotel and they sent a shuttle pretty quickly. I will say getting out of the lot was a little tricky. One of the exits wasn't working and when we went to the other other one it was giving us a hard time. I hit the help button twice and was promptly hung up on twice. Eventually I was able to get my code to scan and we got out. I will be using that lot again. The hotel looked really nice as well and we might even stay there before the next trip to make it easier on us.

Super fast service, right in the lobby of the Westin Harbour Castle. Very good prices compared to area restaurants. Specials by chef-market prices. I was looking for a place and saw the menu offered lots of choices. Appetizers, main entrees, desserts, beers, liquor, mixed drinks. All right here and convenient. I was surprised by the stout local craft beer Cowbell. Looks like at least 6 types on draft. Game day combos too!
