Fråga och ledsen att ha kommit till AGO för min 60-årsdag. Vi har ätit här många gånger och kommer aldrig igen. Reserverad middag för mig och maken att fira på AGO. Min fru och jag hade en mycket bra lunch på AGO Bistro. Våra förrätter var välsmakande och snyggt presenterade, och portionerna var helt rätt. Reservationer är en bra idé. Besökte ÅGÅ för att se Infinity Mirror av Kusama. Efteråt ätit min fru, min bror och jag en snabb lunch på AGO Bistro. Inredningen är modern och mysig. Maten var god och servitrisen var vänliga och hjälpsamma.

Att resa till Toronto kan bara övervägas om det är något som verkligen är värt att komma dit. Summerlicious lunchmeny erbjuder intressanta val. De vita bönorna, vegansoppa var läckra. Fisk och chips var så, så: pommes frites var enastående, generösa en bit fisk var långt ifrån crunchy och oozing olja medan sås kryddor inte åtminstone enligt min mening komplettera skålen. Jag ville beställa "ostfacket" bara för att få veta att det var 1 (en) bit ost. Jag valde mango sorbet: mycket bra. Tjänsten var utmärkt.

Vi ser fram emot att njuta av lite stillestånd från gallerierna genom att ha lunch i Bistroen. Tyvärr stänger de klockan 02:30 på eftermiddagen, ungefär den tid du behöver en paus från att vandra i salarna. Om du vill njuta av denna tjänst, se till att du planerar att äta under de vanliga (och trångt) vanliga lunch timmarna.

Men inte på AGO Bistro där vi åkte runt 5 pm på en nyligen torsdag kväll - när platsen var 2/3 tom - att slappna av. Cappuccino och espresso kom snabbt, följde cirka 15 minuter och två frågar senare av vår Bröd och Smörpudding. "De gör dem till ordning," hävdade servitören. Verkligen? Bröd och smör, något limt vi inte kunde identifiera (den enda delen som kan ha krävt ansträngning), massor av kanel, sötade jordgubbar och en skinka glass. Vad kan eventuellt kräva en sådan fördröjd förberedelse som vi länge sedan hade avslutat våra kaffe? Den kompletterande cappuccinoen, som väldigt noggrant producerades, gjorde inget för att förbättra vår besvikelse.

Vi gjorde lunchbokningar månader i förväg som en del av våra planer på att besöka galleriet. Vi anlände strax vid öppningen och satt i den övre nivån precis förbi det öppna köket. Vi märkte omedelbart bruset av skrikande barn från cafeterian nedanför som öppnar in i detta område. Vi bad att flytta men fick höra alla andra tabeller var reserverade. Tyvärr var det inte den avkopplande lunchen vi hoppades på. Utöver detta hade menyn några intressanta val, tjänster var uppmärksam och vi haft maten.

Priserna är rimliga och med en liten rabatt till jämförbara Toronto matupplevelser. Atmosfären är utmärkt om du letar efter en middagsupplevelse på tystare sidan. - 10% rabatt om du är medlem som också är en fin touch:)
