Great date night spot. My wife and I went for our anniversary' dinner in Toronto. The place is hidden so just look for the sign. The ambiance walking in is astounding with all the lighting. It's dim but they have cool light show during dinner. It's a small place but the food was top tier. Sea bass was phenomenal! Get the whole sea bass and thank me later. The sizzling shrimp was great but they only give you 5. Those truffle mashes potatoes melt in your mouth like butter. The service was a little slow but the food made up for it. It looks like the restaurant turns into a night club later in the night. Great place

We came here with 10 minutes before happy ended and the server had no problem with taking our order (even before my friends got there). Our waiters were very nice. The food and drinks came out relatively fast. My friends got two drinks and they said they were good. The truffle fries were cooked seasoned perfectly with a good amount of Parmesan, parsley and truffle flavour/aroma. They were so good. The rocks shrimp had a delightfully crispy exterior and a great dipping sauce. The Greek salad was massive for a happy hour salad. Dressed so nicely with a huge block of feta. It was a great salad. I just wish they used a different green like romaine instead of iceberg lettuce. They have an open kitchen concept so you can see the chefs work their magic, with all the cooking noises and smells too as the the ambiance. Inside the restaurant was very beautiful too. Smaller than typical restaurants but they made good use of the space. The washrooms were very tiny but really nice too.

Come for the espresso martinis and the hamachi crudo. We arrived around 10:30 PM on a Friday night without a reservation. After being seated, the hostess politely asked us to move to another table and offered a complimentary glass of sparkling wine to do so. Since we had dinner earlier in the night, we ordered cocktails and small bites. The espresso martini was excellent--smooth and rich without any cream. The hamachi crudo was fantastic, fresh, and beautifully presented. The wagyu sliders were just decent, though some bites were overcooked to well-done. The tangy pickle on them was a nice, refreshing touch though. Our waiter, Pedro, was attentive and friendly throughout. The DJ was also on point, playing a great mix so it was a good alternative to going to a bar or club.

If you are looking for an aftermove where you can get good drinks and small bites then add this place to your list. It has a lounge vibe and the staff is amazing. They are super engaged at the table and also provide great recommendations. I recommend getting a resume as the place is small so there is a limit on tables. The music is fun and they cool LED walls. There is also an outdoor area as well.

Maxime's was a beautiful restaurant with delicious food! The entrance itself was very picturesque so I was already impressed the moment we walked in. The dishes were incredible, my favourite being the beet & burrata salad, truffle & mushroom pasta and spicy vodka rigatoni. I didn't enjoy the steak as much. It was overpriced and dry. Overall, great experience I'd come here again!

Maxime is so delicious! Quality food with excellent friendly services. I can't wait to come back here to eat again. Definitely ask for your steak "chicago style", truffle mashed potatoes is soo tasty and smooth. Ambiance and decor makes me forget I'm near King street. Such fun music vibe.

Really special, intimate restaurant with kitchen in full view. We had a reservation but the place was pretty empty. Likely we were early and it picks up later. I hope so because the steep prices are worth it. The food is really special, service flawless, and ambience delightful.

I LOVE his place! It is for sure a Toronto must go to! The vibes were amazing. There was a LIVE DJ on a Tuesday night. From the moment you walk in, to the minute you leave, it is a 5 star experience all the way. My server was Mark. Ask for MARK! He portioned my food out perfectly. He was very personable and friendly. The Wagyu Ceasar is the best salad you'll ever had! They even accommodated me deconstructing it and making own little dressing. If you know me, you know I LOVE Carbone.... I ordered the Spicy Vodka Rigatoni and I'll I can say is WOW! It's worth a trip to Toronto just to eat here again!
