My rating is likely higher for this eatery than most folks. I used to frequent this McDonald's often when I worked at Yonge and Eglinton. After work, I'd often drive along Eglinton Avenue East before choosing whatever street that I wanted to head northbound home. When I felt like grabbing a bite to eat on my way home, I'm come here. I hit the drive-thru. I'd then eat in my car and then continue driving home. Recently, I went out on a Sunday night. Afterwards, I felt like grabbing a bite to eat. My original thought was to take advantage of a deal through my A&W app. Sadly, the app was giving me an annoying error that felt like a programming error in logic. I gave up and headed to this McDonald's instead. This restaurant is on the north side of Eglinton. It's in a plaza, across from Kelsey's that has been there for a while. Like old times, I hit the drive-thru. It has two lanes that converge. The right lane was closed and looked like it had seen better days. It still felt like old times to me, as it used to be a single lane. I ordered these items through my McDonald's app: - Double hamburger - McDouble - Small fries - Medium Diet Coke - Pineapple chunks I rolled up to the order area and got a cheerful woman on the other end. I rattled off my order code. She found it and said that I could proceed to the second window. She was professional and polite, which was refreshing at around 11 pm. The first window is to pay for your order. I had already paid through the app, so I headed over to the second window. I got my drink first. My bag of food came next. I thanked the man who handed them to me, and parked between Kelsey's and McDonald's. I chowed down. I got a smaller meal. A double hamburger has two beef patties. A McDouble is a double hamburger, but with two slices of cheese. I enjoyed both of them. They hit the spot. I especially like the tiny sauteed onions. I don't like a ton of fries with any meal. You'll rarely see me get a large order of fries. I do like small fries for a late-night bite. It's the right portion size. These fries were crispy and perfectly salted. Yum! I love Diet Coke at McDonald's. It was cold and I needed a drink to wash my food down. Pineapple chunks are my favourite side snack at McDonald's these days. They have the right amount of natural sweetness. I've noticed that the price varies from one McD's to another. You'll rarely see me get some at my local McDonald's because the price is set at $1.99. Pineapple chunks here go for $0.99. Such a bargain! This plaza does have garbage receptacles. I disposed of my garbage at one in front of LA Fitness. It was nice to return to this McDonald's after an absence of over a decade. It felt the same. The food and drink hit the spot on a Sunday evening. I'd return for more when I'm in the area again. Ordered SKIP 6 muffins, 6 Cinnabons, bacon deluxe + got free spicy chiken! 95% time I never have probs w this Mcds. But 2am today they forgot or skip guy didn't want to wait for 8mon Cinnabon cook. Spicy chiken tiny spicy + crunchy, hot capsasin pepper tobasco sauce will make it throat sweating burning hot, but need small packs sauce for that. Morning manager nice, she said she will get me 6 Cinnabons with SKIP receipt and can keep skip refund for troubles! This mcds 24hr, clean, sometimes kids rowdy, but newly renovated and 2 big led tvs, bar stool area, 3 big party 10 seat sofa areas. Pop taps, parking lot can extend for junhle gym, and nice patio outside, needs umbrellas or tinted roof.

The place is good at getting orders wrong. The quality of McDonalds is not reflected over here. I ordered BLT Egg McMuffin to have no bacon; Double quarter pounder BLT with only a single patty; and another one with no Bacon. A meal for my family where we don't get what we paid for.

Today is national French Fry Day so McDonald's is giving each mobile order the opportunity to add a free medium fry when a minimum order of 50 cents is submitted. I'm having 2 Apple pies for $1.59 plus my free French Fry! Thank you McD. This location is usually very busy so use the self order stations, mobile ordering, or the drive thru service. Indoor and patio seating is available. High chairs are available for small children too. There's plenty of free parking. Many of the trash bins are overflowing in restaurant. The men's restroom smells too.

I believe the sanitation of the washroom in a restaurant reflects on the restaurant as a whole. I went to this McDonald's because I was in the area and needed to use the washroom. I walked in and it was just disgusting. One of the toilet was clogged and the other stall had poop stains on its seat... I was so grossed out by this washroom experience that I couldn't even bring myself to order a drink before I left. Will not return.

During lunch time, I've gotten exceptionally slow service. I've even ordered from the self-serve machines at the front and have still had to wait 10+ minutes. In another instance, the cashier got my order incorrect and I had to line up again and wait just to get what I originally ordered. I do have to say though that I agree with the reviewer before me - the morning/lunchtime manager is always smiling and positive. It is close to my house and workplace so I will be back, but hoping for shorter wait times!

Staff got my order wrong, but no big deal, figured I would just exchange it. Lady who took it back grimaced and told another staff member to make another one, saying "he ordered sausage instead of ham" in a tone that implied it was my fault somehow. No need to get defensive with your customers, I wasn't angry or anything. There are a few power outlets scattered around, but they should really put some under the long counter tables like some other locations.

This McDonald's was comical jokes last night, came in for an ice cream cone. I went inside the restaurant though, couldn't help but laugh at their atrociois drive thru. There was some confusion here as there were green milk crates blocking the drive thru lanes signalling they're closed. However drivers were driving around the crates and before you know it, there's 6-7 cars idling in line on a closed drive thru! Lines aren't moving and tempers flaring in the cockpits of these cars. Drive thru ended up opening to serve these hungry customers before the workers moved garbage cans into the lanes. Cars still were coming in and turned away. Some funny stuff! PS: the iced coffee drink here is disgusting! Not even drinkable. Nope I didn't buy it and glad for it!
