My boyfriend and i went to their restaurant regularly since 2013. Their Pho was just fine, but we like to go there after shopping in Walmart. We started to notice that they added more MSG into the soup in May of 2014, so we stopped going there regularly. July 25, I ordered a Pho without MSG, she charged me 9 CAD before HST for one Large bowl. I went there again and ordered the same Pho on July 28. I asked her when I paid, and she told me because I ordered a non-MSG pho, that's why she charged me 9 CAD, 20% more than a regular bowl. It is 7.5 within MSG. Is that normal to flavor the broth with MSG in Pho restaurants? I don't know, but I do know that MSG is not good for your body, especially if you put way too much into the broth and I have been to Pho restaurants that don't flavor the broth with MSG in Spadina or Dundas West.
