I read some past bad reviews and that is the old management and couldn't be farther from the truth. We just had our daughter's wedding there October and this was the best venue that they could have picked. Jeremy and his staff an amazing. Everyone absolutely loved the entire wedding and party. The extra things that Jeremy did made the night a huge hit and everyone had the time of our lives. Under Jeremy's management I would highly recommend OBJX Studio for any event you might be thinking of.

This place collectively ruined my friends wedding and after party. Hidden fees, shady tactics to reel you in and unprofessional staff and contracts. There were a ton of extra fees and costs not mentioned in their original meetings and discussions. Of course days before the event date they were sent updated information reflecting almost 1k in extra charges. They were not able to negotiate or resolve the issues, so my friends ended up canceling and OBJX took their deposit money as well. Completely unprofessional, with extremely shady practices, I would definitely NOT recommend this place if you're looking to book a venue as you'll be in a world of hurt. Don't make the same mistake, look elsewhere!

BEWARE! We booked this venue back in April for our wedding photo shoot and wedding reception consisting of 45 guests. We were informed by Sabrin that the total cost was $3000 + tax = $3,390 for 8 hours of use of the Warehouse + Lounge. We asked if there were any additional costs such as landmark fee, alcohol, security, preferred caterers we have to use, etc. Sabrin said there wasn't, just the $3000 + tax for the space that we can use as we wish. To confirm we asked: "So we can just bring in our own food from outside and set up coolers filled with beer?" Sabrin repeatedly said yes, so we decided to book the venue and paid a deposit of $500 for our event in August. An invoice was sent to us stating the remaining balance of $2890 ($3390-$500) to be paid before our event date. 12 days before our event date, we were sent a NEW invoice by Lakeisha stating we owed $4398.50! The breakdown was: Venue: $3000 + tax = $3390 Corking fee: $450 ($10 x 45 guests) + tax = $508.50 Refundable Security Deposit = $500 Total = $4398.50 We noticed our $500 deposit wasn't reflected on the invoice and inquired where it went. Lakeisha told us the $500 was not a deposit, but a "non-refundable reservation fee" just to hold our date. Even though our initial invoice clearly showed the deduction from the total balance. I have never, ever seen a deposit where it isn't deducted from the total balance owed. This was clearly hidden from us to scam us out of $500 and they removed it completely from the invoice as if it never existed. We weren't even able to use the $500 as credit for studio use to take our wedding photos. It was just gone and straight into their pockets. And now they want another $500 for security deposit? What new "fee" will that suddenly turn into on our 3rd invoice? Lakeisha also informed us of the $10 corking fee for each of our 45 guests while Sabrin never mentioned any fees 3 months ago. We told Lakiesha if they wouldn't honour our initial invoice like any reputable company would, then they can cancel our booking. They refused to honour our original invoice so we took the $500 loss and walked. Even though we were left without a venue a week before our big day, we refused to give $4398.50 to this group of dishonest people. It tells a lot about a company that's willing to pass on $3390 just because of $450 that they neglected to tell us about in the first place. Beware of OBJX and all those associated with them. They'll nod and smile at you just to lure you in and charge you additional costs closer to your date when you have no other choice but to pay up. They had a gofundme back in December where they panhandled their way to over $10,000 from people so they have their share of experience with asking for more money. Save yourself the headache and your hard-earned money and go somewhere else. There's much nicer venues on Peerspace for a fraction of the cost of OBJX. If you're still considering booking this venue, just remember they don't have air conditioning either. We were told they were going to get air conditioning before our event date, but that was just another lie. Avoid this place at all costs. Your wallet and your guests will thank you for it.

OBJX studio is a beautiful eclectic experience with gorgeous lighting and rustic classic decor! Have attended Christmas parties there that were beautifully Decorated and staff is professional and friendly! If you want a wonderful experience for your special occasion you must experience this beautiful place!
