Pizza review: Pizza size not listed on website, but was told was between 14" - 16" (pie definitely looked closer to 14"). Ordered 'Margherita' and requested well-done "if possible." Asked what was "Raff's Tomato Sauce," and was told it was "chef's grandmother's recipe." 6 varieties of pies and all for the same price of $23 (according to website; although was charged $21 (total) for my 'Margherita' pie during walk-in). Seemingly Neapolitan style (other than the size being larger, at about 14") Dough stiffened quickly (owing to thinness and smaller diameter) but was nicely thin with somewhat neutral flavour profile and small bit of pleasant char at some parts of outer edge. Sauce was on sweeter side of a tomato sauce. Cheese was the most prominent, and was at forefront, adding strong savouriness. Basil more minty than sweet. The sauce and cheese combined nicely to form the superb "orange" hue that is generally a sign of good combination; great savoury flavours from the cheese in combination with the slight sweetness of the (Raff's) tomato sauce created pleasant taste. With most pizzerias charging $17 - $19 for a 12" Margherita & $20 for 14," Raffaella asking $21 - $23 for any choice of six 14" pies isn't bad for Annex pricing, especially for a restaurant connected to a hotel (Raffaella sits at the ground level of the Annex Hotel). Good option for those seeking varied & creative Neapolitan style pizza in the Annex area, or those seeking the pleasant atmosphere of formal dining with the wide-ranging variety of foods and that Raffaella offers ('Napoli Centrale' at 964 Bathurst, off Bloor, is another good alternative for more pizza-focused fare). The recently opened 'Pizzeria Fornace' at Bloor & Bathurst offers a superior pie for those seeking strictly pizza, however.

We were staying at The Annex right next door (great hotel) and decided to get some pizza. The vodka sauce, the annex, and truffle mushroom pizzas were all excellent! We liked it so much, we came back for dinner the next night. Also loved the feature tiramisu and crumble desserts. Room service to the hotel was clutch! Staff was very friendly. Ambiance was an old school vibe outdoors and cool night mood indoors. We will definitely come back next time we are in town!

I went here with my friend to have dinner for my birthday. The service was amazing staff were quick and very attentive everyone was very friendly and helpful. The ambiance is relaxed not packed which was very nice, good music. We got our food fairly quick after ordering and everything was hot. The pizza was very good nice amount of toppings and cheese crust. I would definitely recommend the mushroom pizza the carmalized onions complemented the toppings so well, im not usually one to like tirimisu but it was DELICIOUS and I'd come back for it both pastas were both really good sauce was flavourful the rigatoni was a bit undercooked for my liking but still good overall, the Ceaser salad was the real star very flavourful and light so saucy which I loved and the texture from the crouton crumbs was fantastic.

Another good experience at Raffaella. Such a cozy spot! The server was friendly and spoke about menu options. I ordered the pepperoni pizza (Raff's sauce). Very good sourdough pizza. Very thin pizza base. Pepperoni had a bit of a kick to it. I added the hot honey sauce on the side. I saved room for dessert and ordered the limoncello tiramisu. Loved the lemon curd and cream on top. I like limoncello in general, however, for me, the liqueur flavour in this was overpowering the rest of the dessert. Not sure if the cake had a good chance to soak up the liqueur or maybe just too much in it for my taste. I think I would stick to ordering the traditional one next time as I know it's tasty as well! The server brought a limoncello with grapefruit shot to finish. (And the rest of my pizza to go... leftovers are good next day!)

Really delicious food for a decent price. If you like super thin crust pizza this is the place for you. Cocktails were on the pricier side but where isn't these days.
