Mycket trevlig restaurang. Servicen var snabb och vår servitris gjorde ett par mindre ändringar i vår beställning utan att tveka. Burgarna, Goodman Burger och Tex Mex Burger, vi hade båda var perfekta. Kan inte säga nog om de Franska pommes frites. Fint och krispigt med potatisskalet kvar på. Bra utsikt över hamnen från vårt bord och mer än tillräckligt med tv-apparater så det fanns ingen anledning att Crain halsen för att se en.

Vi gick förbi Harbourfront och bestämde oss för att stanna till vid The Goodman Pub — och vi är så glada att vi gjorde det! Tack vare Irem satt vi precis där vi ville. Hon var otroligt vänlig och Välkomnande, med fantastisk gästfrihet. Ett speciellt rop - ut till Diana (prinsessan! ) och Noel för deras enastående Service. De gjorde vår upplevelse ännu roligare med sin uppmärksamhet och värme. Vi uppskattade varje minut som tillbringas här. Maten var utmärkt, särskilt de vegetariska alternativen, som var färska och smakrika. IT är definitivt en plats värd att besöka om du är i vattnet. Mat och service var ok men inte spektakulär. Vad jag inte uppskattade var att vår server gav kortmaskinen till oss på sidan, så att pekskärmen var vänd och bara visade alternativen för 20 % eller 18 % dricks, med de lägre och anpassade dricksalternativen dolda. Han gjorde detta med alla i vårt parti så det var avsiktligt. Vi skulle ha gett dricks ändå men det här var ett flagrant försök att utnyttja turister (vilket vi inte är, vi är expats som bor i Toronto). Kunder som inte känner till drickskulturen skulle tvingas ge 18 % att tro att det är obligatoriskt, vilket det inte är. Det är lurigt och av den anledningen kommer vi aldrig tillbaka.

Vi valde denna restaurang eftersom det var på Harbour front i Toronto. Det verkade lovande i början men i nedförsbacke ganska snabbt. Vi beställde drinkar; Coconut Mojito, Strawberry Daiquiri och Piña Colada. Drinkarna kostade 16 dollar/drink och ganska urtvättade. När det gäller maten såg det bättre ut på menyn än när den kom framför oss. Jag fick fish and chips, min man fick cajunkycklingsmörgåsen min syster fick laxen och min svåger beställde spenatkronärtskocksdippen. Cajun kyckling smörgås var stekt och mycket brända pommes frites var salt, min måltid var smaklös, min kusin sa att hennes lax var salt min bror i lag betygsatt 4 för sin kronärtskocka dopp. Så det positiva är att de inte tog betalt för min mans måltid eftersom de sa att hans smörgås var vitt kött men det visade sig vara mörkt. Skulle vi gå tillbaka till den här restaurangen? Jag skulle säga nej.

Ganska bra matutbud och bra urval av drycker. Servicen var bra trots att det var en hektisk kväll. Huvudfrågan var att pommes frites serveras med båda måltiderna var exceptionellt salt. Detta förringade vad som annars var en anständig måltid.

Jag ville skriva en bra recension. . . men med tanke på förutsättningarna måste jag göra det till en undermålig recension. Middagen började med uppmärksam service men gick snabbt utför. Vi kände oss som om vi trängde oss på servern. Våra måltider kom och han uppgav att han glömde kryddan, men skulle vara tillbaka med det. Istället för att komma tillbaka och släppa det vårt bord gick han förbi oss till bordet bakom oss (hela tiden med flaskan i handen) för att ta emot deras beställning, vilket innebar att jag inte kunde garnera min mat när det var varmt. När det äntligen kom och jag började äta det var då jag märkte att det inte var vad som beställts, ytterligare fyra till fem minuter går förbi och två servrar senare kommer han tillbaka och erbjuder sig att ge rätt ordning på fem minuter . . med tanke på deras fem minuter tackade jag nej och sa att jag skulle äta vad som tillhandahölls eftersom jag inte ville att min fru och jag ska äta våra måltider vid olika tidpunkter, är vår preferens att äta tillsammans. Vid den här tiden min mat var sval, vilket inte gör det till en mycket trevlig matupplevelse. När det var dags att betala räkningen kände vi återigen att vi ignorerades, servern tog order vid tre andra bord när han tydligt visste att vi ville betala räkningen. När räkningen kom märkte jag att jag debiterades för den maträtt jag inte beställt. Med alla förseningar och misstag skulle jag ha trott att det skulle ha blivit ett litet ändringsförslag, men han informerade oss om att han inte hade den diskretionära möjligheten och jag skulle behöva tala med chefen. Det skulle ta extra tid med tanke på deras förkärlek för förseningar avböjde jag. Jag anser ärligt talat att servern bör ha ett visst omdöme när det gäller att göra kunden nöjd.

Jag blev inbjuden till Goodman Pub för en 40: e födelsedagsfest och vilken fantastisk plats detta var. Först och främst kan jag inte tro på alla ändringar i Queens Quay Terminal. Goodman Pub har mycket att erbjuda för små eller stora grupper. Dryckerna var goda och vi hade tilltugg som också var väldigt bra. De har en lounge som har PAC MAN sida ner videospel! ! !
