4.5 rounding up to 5 We needed some cookie trays for a family function. My sister decided to go with Tre Mari as they're located in the heart of little Italy. When you order on their website, you can choose pickup or delivery. My sister was fine to pick up the trays in order to avoid delivery fees, and make sure they were made so as to be both be in a timely manner but not getting stale. Ordering online is so easy - there are plenty of photos and descriptions to help you choose among the huge array of offerings. We kept it very simple and traditional, going with one amaretti platter, and one assorted platter. It was a bit difficult to gauge just how large the cookies are based on their per person recommendations. It appeared to come out to about $8/person, which seemed very reasonable, but again, we couldn't be sure how many cookies and how large. The platters were ready on time, and pickup went without a hitch. I was a little disappointed with how few biscotti were in the assorted platter, but the cookies themselves were phenomenal. I generally dislike amaretto flavouring and don't care for these biscuits, but these confections were off the charts! So wonderful in texture, with a chewy, crisp at the bite, yet soft interior. They are rather sweet, but they were addictive. For me, who normally can't be bothered eating these cookies, that's quite a testament. The chocolate biscotti that I did get to try was up there with taste, but there were too few for my liking. Too many amaretti being the same as the other amaretti platter we ordered. The trays are sturdy and held up well. I like the ambiance of the bakery itself and would love to sit and monch these tidbits all day. Looking forward to my next opportunity to come back and maybe try the sandwiches, cakes, or gelato as well.

Got a box of cannolis for a charcuterie board group date and they were a hit! The pistachio ones were my favourite followed by the hazelnut and strawberry. I saw some fun flavours like pumpkin spice too that maybe I'll try this season. I also got a bag of some amaretti and they were so delicious. Service was excellent even though it was quite busy, they did their best. Also saw their pistachio cake and I will definitely try that next time!!

On my recent trip to Toronto, I discovered Tre Mari Bakery, and I'm so glad I found this gem of a spot in Little Italy area. From talking to others I learned this family-owned gem has been a beloved part of the community since the 1960s, and it's easy to see why as I indulged in things. Staff is friendly and seem happy to be here. Also, seating facing the road with large glass windows is great for a curious people watcher like me :) The moment I walked in, I was captivated by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The array of sweets on display was irresistible with so many cannoli options. I couldn't leave without trying the ricotta cannoli and spritz, and they did not disappoint - light, creamy, and great all around. I paired my pastry with a shot of espresso which was much needed. Good quality espresso for sure. Tre Mari also offers a variety of hot, cooked meals. I decided to try their veal and mushrooms with pasta on my second visit, and it was like a homemade meal - hearty, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The veal was very impressive, bursting with flavor and the mushrooms were a great addition. Even as a first-time two time visitor, I felt like I was part of something special. Tre Mari Bakery is more than just a place to grab a bite; it's a place where tradition, quality, and community come together. If you're ever in Toronto, this bakery is a must-visit. Make sure you have this gem of a spot on your list!

The cannolis here are the bomb! They're super fresh and the cream filling is generous. Shells don't have a stale-tasting texture to them. They do a flavour of the month that was holiday themed. Prices are decent as well. Self explanatory why there's always a lineup here!

Went here for gelato. My friend & I were offered unlimited samples, by the barista. My friend had asked which were gluten free and the barista showed her a whole shelf of amaretto cookies. I tried one and they tasted similar to regular cookies they were so moist. For gelato my friend had the lemon & pistachio which he really enjoyed. The lemon gelato was too sour for my liking. I had the tiramisu which was way better than the last time I had which was drenched in alcohol this one you couldn't taste the alcohol. I would love to explore more of the menu, the only thing I didn't like was the uncomfortable chairs.

4.5/5. I recently ordered a birthday cake online from this bakery, along with a few groceries to meet the delivery minimum (note: there is still a delivery charge). After paying, the website mistakenly listed my order as pick-up instead of delivery. I called the bakery to resolve the issue, and the staff member who assisted me provided outstanding customer service. She said that their system sometimes has glitches. She corrected the order to delivery for the next day without any hassle and even reduced my charge due to the mix-up on their part. When the order arrived, everything was fantastic. The groceries were fresh, and the birthday cake was absolutely delicious. I'm really impressed with their attention to customer care and the quality of their products. Highly recommend for both their baked goods and their exemplary service! I can't comment on ambiance because I order delivery.

I am very very torn about giving Tre Mari 4-stars. But alas, the service's a little bit of a let down for me, so I had to make note of that. My partner and I usually try to get each other birthday cakes from different local Toronto bakeries so we can try out different places. This year, I chose Tre Mari. My partner wanted a fruit cake so I ordered the Tutto Frutta. It was hands down one of the best cakes I've had in Toronto. The cake itself was so moist, simple, and good. The whipped cream was just the right amount of sweetness. It was light and delightful. However, when I did curbside pickup for the cake, their email says to park on a side street and call them so they can get the cake ready. I called, the person told me to wait a moment (without confirming that they were gonna go check on it or anything) and then promptly left me hanging for almost 15 mins. I could hear laughing and joking around in the background. I got impatient (because at this point, wouldn't you be?) so I hung up and redialed. The guy that answered the phone apologized for my waiting and told me to pull up to their back door and he'll be right out. Their back door is in a narrow alley way and because it took so long, a truck needed to get through and we needed to move. We had to park the car in a random spot and I had to get out of the car and wait at their back door. We were expecting guests and I was in a hurry to get home and start on the roast so needless to say I was extremely unhappy. Overall, I really enjoyed Tre Mari's cake but just thinking about the whole pick up process, and the need to drive outside of the downtown core has me hesitating a little.

This used to be a daily stop when I spent more time in The Junction. This place is awesome. It's super cute and fun to browse in. Plus, the food is amazing. My favourite things are the almond cookies. I also like their cappuccino. But, I've never been disappointed with anything I've gotten from here. They make great sandwiches and ready made food. Great service too!
