Food 3.5/5 Service 4/5 Ambiance 3.5/5 I came here just to get out of the sun, have some water & wait for my husband. It's just down the street from Chester subway station so it's conveniently located. It's not a large place but they have some small tables inside & also tables outside. For drinks they have both hot (coffee, tea, espresso) & cold (iced tea, water. They also have pastries (cookies, croissants). From their hot table they have calzone, panini, & lasagna. I had a cookie & a bottle of water. When hubby came he had a calzone. But it was so big he decided to just bring it home to eat. The bathroom is downstairs in the basement & there is only one bathroom. It's quite small but it's clean. I think the owners are a husband & wife who were also working at the counter filling orders. They were nice. I might eat here again if I need a quick bite to eat. But I do prefer a place that is more spacious since I'm claustrophobic.

Had a latte single shot after lunch. It was a hot day, but I still got a hot drink. It was so smooth and I can taste the coffee unlike Starbucks. Enjoyed the coffee with my friends. It was a bit hot inside after a while. I like my AC, but they had the doors opened so it wasn't as cold as it should have been. Latte was made pretty fast. Very nice joint.

A small Italian cafe on Danforth, with a good selection of espresso drinks, snacks, pastries and gelato. The selection of snacks and pastries are fairly unique compared to most cafes in Toronto - most seemed to be Italian in origin. We tried a sfogliatelle, a croissant like pastry with a custard filling and an arancini al ragu (with meat, cheese and peas). Both were very tasty, and the service was excellent - very friendly and quick.

This is an Italian cafe. They sell panini (they freshly cut the meat from slabs), cakes, croissants, baked items, coffees, and gelato. It opened on 2022-05-12. I ate there on 2022-09-01 and 2023-03-01. On my first visit, I ordered gelato in a medium cup ($5.50) with Pistachio and Mixed Berry. Both flavours were fresh and smooth. The small ($4.25) would have been enough, but I love gelato, so I couldn't help myself! You can have it in a cone too, but it is easier to take pics with a cup. And of course, after I took my tons of photos, some gelato would have melted! The owner runs the cafe. Service was courteous and friendly. There is indoor seating, counter seating along the windows, and outdoor seating (during warm weather). On my second visit, I ordered a Peach Cookie with Custard Cream ($3.75). Half was yellow and half was red. Don't order if you can have sugar because the outside is covered with sugar crystals! At first, it looked like the inside would be a white/gray custard, but I was surprised that the inside was also yellow and red! Yes, it was delicious for my tastes because I like sweet things. The owner remembered me from Sep 2022! It was because I spent so much time taking photos the first time. Of course, I took a long time again this time. There is no free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible but has no door-open button. There is one gender-neutral washroom downstairs, so it is not wheelchair accessible. There is free and paid neighbourhood parking. Great new Italian cafe in the Danforth. We've been here 4 times now since it opened a couple of weeks ago, and the vibe has always been super welcoming and genuinely friendly. We've had an assortment of goodies, including: - Croissants: The chocolate croissant is a standout. Croissant is buttery and flaky, and the chocolate filling is generous. Also had the notella, which was smaller and less filled. - Gelato: The pistachio gelato was soooooo smooth and flavour was distinct. The cheesecake one was also good, though was just a bit icey in some parts. - Cannoli: Pretty good shell (just the right level of hard versus crumbly), pretty generous piping. - Cassata: Not sure if they supply their cassata to another Italian gelato shop in the city, because it looks and tastes so similar. But this is easily one of the best cassatas around. - Prosciutto and Provolone Sandwich: The bread was a bit too flaky for me. Good amount of cheese, would have liked just a bit more meat. - Almond cookie: Good nutty flavour. - Cappuccino and Cafe Mocha: Good cups to kick off your day. While not big, it's very clean and seems more spacious than it might actually be. They also have a great patio that's perfect for the summer. And as mentioned earlier, the people here always bring that extra Italian spirit that just lifts up the mood. Definitely stop by if you're in the area!

My friend and I were wandering around the Danforth, not sure what to eat considering the late hour. We wanted a meal and something sweet and luckily we found this place that served both. The two men with glasses were absolutely wonderful. They were thoughtful, offering us a cup of ice with our drinks along with heating up our meals. There weren't much choices left since it was already past 10:00PM. We managed to score pasta and Prosciutto and Provolone Sandwich. They were kind enough to heat it up and we didn't mind the wait. We opted to sit at the patio outside as the weather was agreeable and once the food was done, the kind man served it to us outside. Even though it was close to closing, he did not rush us, telling us just to enjoy the food. The food itself made us quite satiated. The sandwich was nice and crisp and the pasta was toppled with a generous amount of cheese. The gelato also beat our expectations. The roche and strawberry gelato was creamy and sweet. Should we ever find ourselves wandering around the Danforth again, this would be the place to go.

Best pistachio gelato I've had in a long time, and certainly the best gelato on the Danforth. Not a wide selection, but what they do, they do well. Coffee is also really good. Overall a welcome addition to the Danforth.

Great Italian cafe staffed by really friendly people. I usually stop by during weekends to try their different baked goods and of course get an espresso. Their croissants are soft, the bomba is a bit hard to chew, the cookies have good filling, the sandwiches are a good size, and gelato is really creamy. My favorite of all of them is cassata.

We had the cappuccino and it was amazing!! Also tried the almond and chocolate croissants. They were so flaky and tasty with the right amount of filling. Best coffee and croissants here!! The young man at the counter was very friendly and pleasant. Will definitely be back to try some of their other products.
