A small shop in North York - few mins drive from Finch station - offering Korean fried chicken, tteokbokki, rice balls, tofu pockets, pasta / udon, risotto, and more! Choose from mild, normal, spicy levels 1-4 . Featured here: Basil Cream Pasta - Spicy 1, Tuna Rice Balls , Rose Tteokbokki - Spicy 1 , Sweet and Spicy Fried Chicken Service was quick! More of a sit down spot for small groups of 2-4. Any larger you may want to get takeout. Food was fresh and delicious; if you can handle a low to medium spice, I would go for spice level 1. I would come again to satisfy my cravings

Small place but amazing Korean snacks. They even have manhwa available to read. Recommended to take out since there's only three tables but if you're lucky you might be able to get one of them!

I saw videos of this new restaurant and wanted to try it out. The North York location is TINY. There are only 4 tables in the entire restaurant. Dine in time is only for 1 hour as the waitlist can get long. This location is definitely better for take out. My friend and I ordered the rose tteokbokki with fish cakes, spicy crab meat rice ball, cheese butter fries. My favourite was definitely the spicy crab meat rice ball. All the dishes had lots of flavours and the portions were big. All the prices are very affordable as well. I didn't see any washrooms. Overall, loved the food here. I would definitely come again for take out or visit the other location. Highly recommend.

There's no better pho spot in downtown Toronto that offers a large bowl of beef pho for just $11.99. They also provide a 10% discount (leave them a review!). @beleaf.toronto offers generous portions, with so much meat that we could barely finish it all. Don't miss out on their drinks! My favorite was the coconut White Moonlight (coconut water with cheese foam). This is one of my favourite Korean places! The food is always really tasty, and they make it pretty quickly too. You can get 10% off with cash. The store itself is very small, but there are a couple of tables to sit at.

This restaurant is slightly outside of Toronto is a small storefront with just a few tables. We came around dinner time and was able to be seated immediately. You would go up to the cash register and order your meal and then they'll bring it out to you. We ordered the tuna rice ball, as well as the rose chicken bokki with glass noodles and the cheese butter French fries. The french fries were very crispy and large. I did like the flavor but it did throw me off a little bit that it was on the sweeter side. As for the rice ball, this was such a fun activity since we got to mix and make the rice balls ourselves. The rice balls are a great dish to have with the rose chicken bokki. The rose chicken bokki was very very flavorful, and I love the sauce it came in. Overall, the prices were super competitive, and the food was delicious. I would definitely come back in the future!

Didn't know about this spot until my friend brought me here. Seatings are very limited and I wrote my name + # down and they never call. We decided to go back and there were seats available. Food, we got the black bean udon with sausages, rosé tteokbokki with fish cakes and crab rice balls. All were reasonable price and food items were delicious. The back bean sauce was on the sweeter side. I find that the rice cakes here are much chewier and less opaque so I think they used tapioca to get that chewy texture. The rosé sauce was very good, creamy and a bit sweet. The rice balls was crunchy and flavourful. I'd recommend coming here during odd times if you want seatings.

One of the best dukbokki places I've tried! We shared the spicy black bean dukbokki (spicy level 3 which was pretty spicy - started sweating), the spicy salmon mayo tofu pockets, and the crab salad rice bowl. All the dishes tasted so good especially the chewy rice cakes were perfectly cooked. The rice with the sauce was so so good and it was super filling only for ~$30 with tax and tips. I would definitely return!

Had to wait a bit to be seated as there is very limited seating. We went on a Sunday at around 2pm and waited 15 minutes for a table. I would say the restaurant fits 10 people max, the restaurant is very small and the tables and chairs are small too. Also, you have to order at the cash register. The workers were very nice. There's a 10% discount if you use cash! Overall the food is very cheap, our total came to $32.10. I ordered mild for both tteokbokki. The rose tteokbokki was so good, sweet and creamy. However, even though I ordered mild, I found it spicy. It was so good that I finished it anyway even though I was in pain, but I think if you have a weak tongue like me I do not recommend it. They were very generous with the mozzarella cheese! My boyfriend said he liked both dishes, especially the sausages and sauce. The cheesy butter garlic fries have a strong sweet butter taste. They were really good and crispy! The cheese sauce is mild compared to the butter taste. They were also sweet. I liked them a lot, and it came out pretty quickly. Overall, very excited to go again as the food was better than I expected! I hope they increase the seating.

Sadly, I usually don't get to eat tteokbokki outside of cream flavours because I have a low spice tolerance.. so I was really excited to try this place out when I saw that they have a wide range of spicy levels! I (obviously) went for "mild", which is their lowest level and tried the rose flavour - it was perfect! It definitely still had a kick and made my nose run but it was mild enough that I could enjoy it. My friends who debated between "normal" or "level 1" ended up picking normal and said it was the right call. They said level 1 probably would've been uncomfortable for them. FYI - the employee compared their normal to a shin ramyun. The tteokbokki had a really great texture - it was soft and chewy and adhered to the sauce really well. I also ordered an add-on topping of fish cakes and there was a generous number of pieces. The crab meat rice ball was a perfect complement to the tteokbokki dish because it helped to balance out the spiciness of the sauce and not waste it! Although the rice ball sounds simple in theory (rice mixed with mayo, pickled radish, seaweed, and onion chips), the final product was really delicious and actually a favourite amongst my group. I also got the deep fried laver rolls to add some texture and crunch to the meal - it was great and everything I expected it to be. For those wondering what the difference is between tteokbokki and chicken bokki, my party ordered both to see and the consensus was that the chicken bokki has a good amount of chicken but not a lot of rice cakes. Overall, the food here was great and I would definitely recommend it. The single portions are enough to satisfy but not to get full and the dishes are primarily starch-based. I'd suggest that for an average appetite, you'd be looking at getting a few add-ons or a rice and a tteokbokki (min $20/person) to get full. Also, the restaurant is very small and only has 4 small tables for two. They also have 10% off for cash payments.
