Located in a plaza on steeles. Pretty convinenent location. Good amount of parking. Definitely not the kind of plaza you would expect this restaurant to be though. They currently have a special for Peking duck buy 1 get 1 free upon your next visit. The voucher is valid for 1month from the day you ordered your first duck. Food: great amount of options from Cantonese style to Szechuan style. Service: a little rusty. But is probably due to most of the server's are young and may lack experience. Karaoke fan? They have that just for you here. Sing your heart away after 9pm. Or come here for a late night snack.

This is an amazing restaurant with delicious sichuan cuisine and amazingly attentive staff. The late night menu was huge. The whole Fish with pepper, lamb and Chicken skewers were finger licking good. They need to work a little bit on their bar and wine menu. But the Manager Edwin was eager to please and made us some amazing cocktails. Highly Recommended If u want something authentic and not addicted to Mandarin kind of Canadian Chinese cuisine.

The customer service is soooooooo awful and terrible. The servers are very rude. We sat down for alsomost ten mins, and they didn't give us any water. They gave no smiles on us as well. When we make a payment, we gave the server a card, she said, "oh I have to confirm it is a debit card otherwise you cannot use that one." The servers just make us fee very uncomfortable. The food tastes good but price are too high. It is very low cost-effective. Don't wanna go there any more.

Their desserts are the highlight of the dinner! I've come twice and it's been fantastic both times. Staff are kind and accommodating, and they take reservations. Their dishes are all great, notably their fish. Love!

This is a little on the higher end Chinese restaurants. We ordered the Peking duck and ribs on a stone slab. Both are pretty good and well presented. We had this fish soup in preserved vege and it's spot on. Overall I think the food is reflective of the higher end price. Is it value for money? Nope, this is not your typical value for money Chinese buffet but instead serve quality Chinese cuisine. The servers are actually very pleasant and courteous. However I deduct 1 star because of the seating, we got a long table booth style like a cafeteria, this does not bode well with Chinese food that is shared. Imagine I really want the ribs and it's on the opposite end of the cafeteria table. Not cool.

Over priced, disorientated restaurant. 1. We waited when there were a lot of empty tables. They were so slow to clean small table they were trying to sit us. 2. it took quite long time to get us the food. And it doesn't even come in sequence. It comes in long intervals between dishes. Even if you ordered a lot of food to share, you have to wait and finish whatever food they bring to you. Then wait then there will be another food. 3. I ordered frigging rice! (at the beginning of the order). This is Sichuan hot/spicy food restaurant. Not only my rice wasn't there to accompany some of the spicy food, it came like last. Wtf. 4. Food? It's Not even that good!! It's actually terrible compare to other Chinese restaurants I've went. It's 816 bbq port rib? They wrote "secret recipe" lmao. What secret recipe. It's dry and it's not even tasteful. We ordered dumpling. Hahaha haha literally there were 6 dumplings. Most expensive dumpling I've ever had. Cheap ass. 5. Yet they want us to fill in some survey which was given with weird dessert. It was not even great. And the survey was in Chinese.

This place is a disaster. The dining environment was decent, however the customer service was awful. We waited an hour for our dish, when we tried to cancel it, the manager tried to tell me that I only ordered it twenty minutes ago. Apparently, the server only put our order in the system after we remind them. Go to this place only if you want to go home hungry

very nice environment friendly service good for groups. Not a lot of authentic Chinese restaurants in the area and this definitely stands out amongst the others. They have different cuisines of choice such as cantonese, sichuan if you like spicy, or Peking (the famous peking duck). Very tasty dishes!

816 Cuisine is a very traditional Szechuan restaurant. The food is the best Szechuan food I've had in Toronto. The taste is really well done and is miles ahead of most Szechuan restaurants in the GTA. They offer some very high quality dishes which is probably why the price is high. Furthermore, I personally found that the restaurant has a great atmosphere and the service was spot on. Overall, this is a high quality and well worth restaurant -- and a can't miss if you love Szechuan food!

Elevated chinese cuisine with a wide variety of traditional szechuan and other regional influences. Highly professional and hospitable staff and a very sophisticated atmosphere. The night menu has more of an appeal to youth, serving different mala dishes, fried chicken, and crawfish alongside specialty bar drinks. The seafood is especially good as well as the use of Chinese spices. Very unique flavours and would highly reccomend
