Rooms were filthy. Semen on the walls by the tv. Moved rooms, to another dirty room with torn sheets. Complaints directed to front desk and Hilton corporate were ignored. Terrible experience all around.

Food found in bed disgusting filthy .... staff did nothing to help compensate. How this is acceptable anywhere is beyond me. Don't ever go places with rotten food and hair found in bed.

Hotel wasn't bad, but it could use some updating. The second elevator was broken for a majority of my stay, I was told it had been down since November... Made it inconvenient in the morning and evening when people were coming to/from work. The room was dated but has everything you needed. There was a small living room area with a small dining table. The full kitchen was a nice option with the full size fridge. There was two TV's one in the bedroom and one in the living room. The bathroom was spacious as well as the closet. There was plenty of storage place. The bed was not very comfy but it was clean so that was good. The AC/heater was either too cold or too hot and quite loud which made it hard to go to bed comfortably. The hallways had a very aggressive hearing fan that would blow my sign off my door everyday which also got pretty annoying after two weeks. It also was quite loud. The gym was good. It had three treadmills, two ellipticals, one bicycle. I never had any issues getting the equipment I wanted to use. It was well stocked with towels. There is a tv on each machine as well as one in the weight area. The close parking was fairly crowded every night. But there was always parking somewhere just may not be close. The breakfast was different each morning which was a nice change after a long stay there. Some days were better than others. I wish they had paper plates to take food on the go in the morning. I did notice some people thought ahead and brought their own Tupperware so I guess that is an option. Nonetheless it is your standard free hotel breakfast. There is plenty of seating in the dinning area though. They did offer Social hours on Monday through Thursday, which was nice during the cold nights. There was light dinners offered each night. Each night had something different, there was a calendar of events in the room. It ranged from pasta, pizza, salad, soup, sandwiches not the best food but a nice option if you are not inclined to leaving the hotel. There was also soft drinks and desserts offered. The subway station is not far from here about a 8 minute drive. There is no sidewalk to and from so I wouldn't really suggest walking there also it was quite cold and snowing when I was there. There is also a Walmart located near by so that was nice to get some essentials. The hotel also offers to pick up groceries for you as well. I'm not sure of the fee associated with it as I didn't do it. Room service was quick to bring anything that I needed.

I have four seminars to conduct today for a client in Vaughan, with the first one at 7am. We had a snow storm last night and I wanted to make sure I made it to the client's site on time so I stayed at the Homewood Suites in Vaughan last night. I like Homewood Suites because instead of a room, I can get a suite for the same price. Two bottles of water were free because I'm a Hilton member. My bed was comfy! Parking and WIFI (it was okay, not overly speedy) are included. The suite had a kitchen so I could make a meal if I wanted. They have evening socials available in the lobby from Monday to Thursday ... I stopped in and had some soup and fruit but there was also cheese, salad, crackers, bread, pretzels, cake, etc. There was a convenience store in the lobby for snacks and frozen meals. There is a fitness room, which I used, and a pool. The hotel is near (a short drive) restaurants and the Vaughan Mills shopping mall, Canada's Wonderland, etc.

At first, we pulled up to see a parking meter in the front lobby. I was put off but found out that guests park free but needed to register their cars. We were 30 minutes from Toronto and shouldn't need to pay for parking. Well, others at the Toronto airport showed a parking fee. So, I was thankful but anyone who isn't staying at hotel would have to pay the meter. Next, check-in was smooth and it was nice to be given water bottles. The room was top floor with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a common living room with kitchen. The only downside was that the room face highway 400 which was noisy. So, my wife had ear plugs to share and used them through most of the week. That was nice and got good night's rest. Our king room was spacious and bathroom too. I checked out my in-law's 2 queen room which was slightly larger but same layout too. The living room was gigantic with a workstation desk to side that my father-in-law used to spread out his maps and travel books. There was an ironing board and iron in our room which was left in living room so my in-laws could use it. The lobby has DVD library which you can borrow DVD along with some movies. We used it a couple of nights and the selection was pretty decent. The pool was a bit on the small side but good nonetheless. Breakfast had a nice variety throughout the week. Also, the evening reception on Mon-Tues was especially nice with their 100 year celebration. Every night we were treated to dessert (Mon- cake, Tues- cupcakes). Also, there was always garden salad which was nice balance. The first night was more finger food like cheese crackers, veggies, chicken noodle soup, and fruit selection (pineapple, cantaloupe, honeydew melon, etc). The second night was stir fry chicken which was okay. I still liked the salad and soup combo. Also, we also used their laundry room for washing our clothes. The soap dispenser got stuck and lost our money so the nice housekeeping staff helped us out. The price was reasonable and got most of our clothes washed and dried. Overall, what else can you ask for with a reasonable price outside of Toronto. I liked the privacy that my wife and I had and still be relatively close to in-laws. The drive to downtown is a drag but that's not their fault. Toronto is generally pretty bad at all times even weekends. The parking situation depends on what is going on downtown. With Toronto Blue Jays game, we were told to park at Convention Center to avoid $40 flat rate special event parking at others. Nice advice to pay by hour which came to around $25. Also, it helps that there is a metro nearby the hotel within walking distance. When we factored the cost of parking at the Vaughan metro station and also individual day passes. It just made more sense to take the minivan into the city. Otherwise, if it is just yourself on business, then it might make more sense. We were just worried about people getting lost like my mother-in-law at the Toronto zoo. So, this was not an option since rush hour would be too busy to take into account people getting lost.

One of the nicest hotels in the area, Homewood certainly checks out on all aspects. Lots of parking space, the lobby and restaurant area is clean, checking-in and out was easy and seamless, prices are great, customer service and management staff is professional and friendly. The rooms are spacious, clean and very well kept and organized.

I attended 2 full days of conference here. Hotel is very clean, comfortable and spacious. The meeting room was the perfect size for 20-30 people, and it was well equipped with the latest technology. Continental breakfast was decent. Catering for lunch was even better. There is free parking and free wifi, but not the best connection.

The only thing half decent is the main foyer. The rooms need grooming and the blankets hardly cover your body if you're 5"10 and up. There was one gentlemen that helped us in bringing more necessities and was kind. So staff isn't so bad. The quality is trash and illl never bring my family back there again.

Our condo was under intense renovations and we decided it was best intake our two boys to a hotel for a week. My husband stayed back to supervise the condo. Because I was with two babies alone, I really needed a hotel that would assist me somewhat. For example, I needed free wifi breakfast and parking as well as a competent and able staff! To me surprise, this hotel had it all. My one year old hates food period. However, he ate the breakfast every morning and loved it. I even packed it for his dinner. I generally don't like hotel breakfast but these guys have an incredible kitchen staff. It was my son's 4th birthday and dad wasn't with us. I wanted to wait to celebrate but still make his day special. The hotel made his day very special and I cannot ever forget that. The housekeeping staff was amazing especially when my son threw up all over all the sheets in the bedroom! The bleached the floor vacuumed and changed everything. It was a brand new amazing room once again. This is such a incredible hotel as well as clean. Thanks you so much for being everything I needed and hoped for. Please look no further as this is the hotel for you!!!!

The beds are so comfy I wanted to buy one from the hotel! Maid service is great. Nicely decorated. Some of the front desk staff are kind of rude. No room service, but the kitchenettes in the rooms are quite well equipped. If you leave a shopping list at the front desk they'll pick your things up too. So there's alternatives to the no room service thing. I've had an overall nice stay here twice now.
