Came here for lunch with colleagues. It has a structure/ layout of a home converting into a restaurant. A little upscale and fancy ambiance. Professional and courteous service was provided throughout the meal... Both still (not tap) and sparkling water was served, and even the bottles were sealed! Our group ordered a polenta stick and fried calamari as an appetizer to share. The calamari was fried with minimal flour so you will not feel super heavy, yet it still has a crunch to every bite. The polenta stick was new to me as I have never had polenta before, yet I won't turn down the offer. It was crispy on the outside, and soft inside, adding the marinara sauce gave more flavor to the blend polenta. Both appetizers would have tasted better if a little salt or more flavour was added. I have ordered the "tonnarelli zucca e porcini", aka mushroom pasta with butternut squash puree topped with burrata cheese. The pasta was made in-house and cooked to al dente, it has that doughy and chewy texture hence you could tell it's not the supermarket ones. The puree was light so it counteracted the heaviness of the pasta, yet it was little flavour, I was a little disappointed that there wasn't any flavour.

Somewhat fancy ambience. But not a restaurant where you're required to dress up for. Very professional and courteous service. The servers are always checking the table if all is well and checking if your drinking glasses are full. The appetizers (aka the antipasti on their menu) are lovely. One has got to try their Calamari Fritti because the serving is plentiful with a lovely crunch to the batter used. My main which was the $35.00 Pollo seemed very 'piccolo' but was somewhat satisfying to the tastebuds. When we arrived there at around 11:30 AM, parking was plentiful. When we left at 1:30 PM, the parking was full to the point where vehicles were parked illegally. We almost had issues leaving the premises. That is the drawback. The lot isn't that big and this restaurant is very popular in the area.

Take out review: Ordered Caesar salad and fettuccine con funghi. Also got to try the cavatelli con melenzane and the argula salad. The pastas were cooked perfectly. The dishes really do captivate your tastebuds. I am personally not a fan of eggplant so I wouldn't order the cavatelli. The crispy prosciutto really complimented the Caesar salad and wasn't overpowering. Quiet Tuesday evening in the restaurant when we picked up our order.

Our Savour York Region 3 course lunch for $20 makes it worth our while to drive all the way to enjoy a delicious lunch with great food. We tried: Appetizers: Mussels in a Marinara Sauce - seafood always taste best in a simple sauce.. but this one needs some seasoning and a little more depth for sure Mixed Green - Simple balsamic vinaigrette dressing, though some of the greens were not too fresh.. Main: Linguine with Tiger Shrimp - This is the spiciest pasta I ever had in my life in an Italian restaurant - I can feel my lips all pumped up and my stomach burning after I finished - Tiger shrimps on the smallish side but are fresh and nicely cooked Vietllo Villaggio Veal Scallopini - Veal is a little dry but love the cream wine mushroom sauce... - Veggie on the side make this a more balanced meal Dessert: Lemon Tart - Buttery crust is so delicious - The lemon custard filling is finished off with a layer of hard caramel - I like how there is a mix of texture and taste in this dessert B52 Cheesecake - According to the menu, this is a New York Style Cheesecake but this is the most fluffy and light NY cheesecake I ever had - Sadly, I can barely taste the Kahlua, Baileys or Triple Sec though.. Great portion size for a Prix Menu. I was quite full after the menu... I think I should be? The atmosphere here is quite cozy and welcoming. Great for a quiet lunch or a date. Service is decent though our waiter was a little clumsy kept running into tables and chairs and even dropping a berry while serving me my dessert into my water.....

Had dinner there tonight with spouse and a few friends. Mediocre at best. I know there's not much around besides this place, but it was not great food for the price point. My pizza was literally, a large flatbread. Not a meal. Just flavoured crust. The polpette appetizer was barely one, with 4 of the smallest meatballs I've ever seen. The tiramisu was delicious, the cheesecake, the pits. Will not return.

Our in-restaurant experiences a few years back in 2014 were a definite 5. We since moved away so haven't dined-in since. But our very recent catering experience this holiday season was a solid 3.5. It was good, but it wasn't great or amazing, which we were expecting based on our restaurant experiences. You do get value for money in terms of pretty large portions.

1st time visit to this place and was disappointed with most of the experience. As soon as we walked, the noise level was overwhelming. There was an entertainer playing piano and singing at the doorway which made it difficult to hear the hostess's greeting. We had reservations and were seated directly beside a very loud party of 15. My husband and I needed to raise out voices in order to hear eachother talk. Appetizer: antipasto for 2. -tasty, good size, a little skimpy on the cheese Mains: grilled halibut -done perfectly, vegetables weren't what we were told they would b but a good dish Braised short ribs: was one of the daily specials. Amazing. So tender and flavorful. The food was very good but the atmosphere of this place was horrible enough not to return or recommend it to my friends. Wow! This place is a romantic spot and has amazing food and service! Their pastas are homemade noodles, amazing sauces and wine list is great and reasonable. We had their fish spaghetti which was an amazing fish sauce and generous portion of fish. Their lobster risotto is out of this world!! I would definitely recommend for a romantic dinner. I would reserve the round table by the windows as in my opinion nicest table and view
