We were spending some time at Wonderland and were feeling a little peckish but literally all of their eateries were jam-packed with people. (Even the hot dog stand!) So I figured it was an excellent time to give Southeast Sandwiches a try. I decided to get a sandwich with Moo-Nila (braised beef) and I got that with almost all the toppings. For my sauces, I went with Signature Southeast and Kamikaze. The sandwich took a little while but boy oh boy was it ever worth the wait. It's an extremely messy concoction but it's packed with tasty toppings and delicious tastes. The meat is super tender and packed with flavor. Every bite was just a complete winner. It kind of reminded me of a banh mi but one that's been supercharged in an epic way. I'd eat this sandwich once a week for the rest of my life, if I could.

One of my absolute favorite spots for a quick bite even though it is almost never on the way but when I can, I make the trip and have also introduced many family and friends to this place as well. It's a small spot but does have a decent amount of seating. Very casual in style, where you order and pay at the counter before seating yourself, and food is not served to the table so they call out your order for pick up. Menu is easy to follow: you pick a vessel and a protein, as well as your choice of toppings and sauces. You can also choose sides and drinks as well. They also have daily deals. My go-to is the HOLY SHRIMP as a SALAD bowl. I top it with cheese, caramelized onions, crispy onions, cucumber, southeast salsa, and sweet pickled cabbage. Their avocado cream is a must-have sauce and this time, I requested a little bit of their roasted peanut sauce as well. The shrimp will definitely have you saying "HOLY!" because they're so crunchy and flavorful. Not to mention, a really good size! One serving is about 5-6 large pieces of shrimp. The K.F.C. was the first protein I tried and is my second go-to choice. Service is always friendly and in general, the entire process is just so easy and convenient. I've also never had to wait long for my food, which I appreciate!

southeast is one of my favourite spots for sandwiches. they have daily specials and tons of options that you can customize to your liking. our absolute favourite are their tacos, pork belly sandwiches, sriracha fries and matcha bubble tea to drink. It's an awesome spot for lunch and dinner! Special mention to the lovely, friendly and welcoming staff - i look forward to seeing them every time I visit with the fam. I highly recommend this spot!

Don't be fooled by the ambiance, surprisingly delicious and massive sandwiches coming out of this kitchen. They do sandwiches, burgers, tacos with a fusion twist on each one, whether it's korean, filipino, chinese and vietnamese - their take on flavors are bold and unassuming in this cozy restaurant. Ambiance: Think of a mom/pop shop - these places usually have the best flavors coming out of their kitchen - this is what it is. They got spotify jamming some dope hip hop in the back too. Service: Order at the front and they will call you up when the order is ready - primarily a take out joint and a quick eats type of spot. Don't expect them to hand feed you or toss you a table side caesar. They are super friendly though. Food: Cod Tacos - Big A** Cod pieces in these tacos, one order comes with 3, you can pick your sauces and toppings on anything you order. The cod was fresh, very meaty, didn't have a fishy flavor to it and the combination of flavors was definitely up there. Ours was spicy with the kamikaze sauce and the habanero peach. (5/5) Pulled Oink Sandwich - Fresh baked bread with slow roasted pork shoulder with sweet and savoury sauce, all the toppings on the sandwich. The portion was the size of my head. We had leftovers to take home from the sandwich - good balance of flavors, sweet, savory, spicy. (5/5) The only thing you have to prepare for is to get messy cause these sandwiches are a two hander sandwich, and the tacos are well - tacos. Parking: Lots of spots in this parking lot, in the Longo's plaza. Come eat here if you want good food as if your brother is making you a sandwich and has no idea what portion control is.

I was passing by the area last Friday and was intrigued by the raving reviews of this sandwich shop so I gave it a try and wow, the food was excellent! The 5 star rating is definitely well-deserved! I got the daily special which was a bulgogi bun with kimchi fries for $15.99 while my boyfriend got the build-your-own bun with KFC as his protein option for $10.99. Both sandwiches were absolutely delicious! My bulgogi bun was perfectly crispy on the outside and warm and gooey on the inside from a meld of bugolgi, melted cheese, and sautéed mushrooms. The beef was tender and flavourful, and overall, generously portioned. The kimchi fries were also loaded with pickled carrots, kimchi, green onions, and mayo sauce. My only critique is that they were a bit heavy-handed with the mayo and I would ask for less next time. As the portions here are quite good for the price, I was full with just half of my sandwich and fries so I reheated the other half in the oven the next day and it still turned out delicious! Overall, I really like the variety in their menu and the various fresh homemade sauces that they offer. I would definitely come back to try their other menu items and recommend this place to others! It's just too bad they don't have a second location closer to me..!

Mike, KJ and their crew were amazing from the second I walked in. My wife ordered the KFC Bun and I opted for a Brioche Trio and Jalapeño Poppers. The quality of ingredients and sauces (Kamikaze is phenomenal) has constantly had us coming back. The quality of the service is honestly on the same level as their food. Can't recommend this place enough!

The chicken was severely overcooked, with both a burnt appearance and taste. It's clear that it was burned, as you can see in the attached photo. Unfortunately, this made for a disappointing experience and felt like a waste of money. Also, they refer to it as 'KFC'--isn't that a copyright infringement with the actual KFC?
