Epitome of dive bar! Not horribly bad, like the place was clean and not sticky, but the service is goofy bad. We went on a Sunday evening, place was quiet, 3/5 VLTs occupied, 2 folks inside otherwise, one table of 4 on the patio. Ordered a beer, 5 minutes later the sole server comes back to apologize, that draft line is out but she "was told it was in". Uh, OK? Turns out she's calling a manager about every little thing. My partner ordered a rum and coke, asked for an amber or a dark rum. She comes back a couple minutes later to ask him what his order was again, and shortly after I heard her on the phone asking where the amber rum was. "To the back and to the right? I can't see it!" Hilarious if you're just killing time, which we were. She spent most of her time flirting in a middle school-esque manner with an intoxicated 40-something man in a mix of french and english. Given she was maybe 18, the whole interaction felt like we were watching a bad old 80s sit-com. I won't be back but this place was good for a laugh.

Here's the thing: How do you drive to Brossard from Montreal to make sure you can arrive for dinner at a friend's place at 19:00? It's dicey, leave at a reasonable time, get stuck in traffic and be late... leave a bit earlier to be safe and arrive WAY early! Well, we were more than an hour early so we tried to find a place to have a drink and eat a little appetizer to kill time. The place looked fine for that. That Friday night, they had an happy hour on beef or salmon tartar, $10 for a generous portion. The place is kind of weird and definitively look like a gathering of older suburb gentlemen getting a drink and looking at the young waitresses. Service is slow but the tartar was good, and a good value. All in all, it did served our goals.

Despite the ridiculously tacky description of this restaurant (Hyper bar? What the heck is that?), this place is a nice hangout that serves up some great specials and decent meals, all with great service. The bar is a cross between sports bar, lounge, and resto-bar, and has some fancy light action going on. The walls are nicely adorned with wood and antlers. There's even a moose head mounted to one of the walls. What's nice is that there are screens located all over this bar, so sitting anywhere will give you a good view of the game. The crowd is a bit of a mish-mash as well. My friend and I came early, and we found the bar filled with an older clientele. As the night progressed, younger people (both south shore douches/douchettes and regular clients alike) filled the room. It wasn't as homogenous a group as I was afraid of encountering (remember, Fuzzy's dive bar is next door, and that place is notorious around here for catering to a... how do I put it... less refined clientele). All in all, not bad, but you will encounter the typical douchebag here and douchette. As for music, this place is eclectic. Being a fan of 90s tunes, this place delivers on that front, playing tunes from Our Lady Peace's "Clumsy" and even Missy Elliott's "Supadupa Fly" (the music videos also play on some of the monitors, which adds to the ambiance for us 90s kids). There's also recent stuff from Jay-Z and other artists I'm not particularly fond of, but the songs are catchy. This place even turns into a karaoke bar on Wednesday nights, and Friday nights, one of my favourite Montreal bands, Soulvation, comes to play here (I'll be back again to see them here on Friday). Definitely check out the specials. Monday's night is "boy's night" where men get some kind of all-you-can eat special (check out their online menu for events and details). Tuesday is lady's night, which means dinner is free for ladies with a reservation. The only catch is that you must order a minimum of 2 (2 for 1) drinks with your meal (otherwise, you pay 7$ total, which is still cheap). My bill came out to a cool 12$ for 3 drinks and I got a really decent meal! I ordered the brie burger, which was okay. The burger was a little too overdone for my liking and the pickles were not the most harmonious companion to brie cheese. My friend favored better, as she ordered the very delicious chicken pizza. The burger came with a side of mouthwateringly good fries, and the pizza came with a nice salad (albeit dressed a little too enthusiastically). The sangria was quite tasty, and although it might have been a little watered down, you can't complain with such a great deal!

I have been to Windsor a few years ago (on St-Laurent and in Terrebonne), but never the one in Brossard. The good: Drinks were good. Ambiance was nice. Variety of ages here. We were seeing a live band where we knew some members that night and the place had specials for the occasion. The bad: Space extremely narrow between tables and bar. Barmaids wearing VERY revealing clothes (I have a problem with that). Bathrooms not convenient, only one stool. Service was horrible, simply because of inexperience of server. Server had a very short-term memory, forgetting things he hasn't written down. Mixed-up order in one of our group's salad. Asked for water which we got 20 minutes later. Was speaking english to us but switched to french on his next comeback (which we can deal with). We had to hunt him down to pay our bill. Please hire more experienced servers to upgrade the experience of the place. On another note, menu said roasted garlic croutons with our caesar salad, got dry white square bread instead, felt cheated. If it wasn't for our friend's band, the experience there would have been awful. Worse than one star. I haven't been so disappointed in a place in a long time. Thank you Windsor for reminding me why I am using Yelp!

We came here on a Saturday night for a friend's birthday. I had checked the menu out online beforehand and thought it would be a decent place. The website portrayed a rustic feel, picture hunting lodge meets sports bar. When we showed up, I was a bit disappointed because it was just a glorified sports bar, and saw two antlers nailed to the back wall. Talk about total disconnect! Another thing about the decor/setup I didn't quite like was when you walk in, there is a huge bar in the centre of the place, leaving very little room to move on either side, with some long tables set up in the back. The staff is friendly enough, but only if you speak French to them; if you speak English, you'll get the stink eye. It seems the prerequisite to working there is to be very thin, have an ample bosom and have the stereotypical French girl attitude (no offence is meant by this, but most, if not all, will understand what I mean; if I've offended you, accept my apologies!). When it came down to ordering, Danny got the chicken wing appetizer (spicy BBQ) and the NY strip steak with fries. I got the Onion Straw burger with sweet potato fries. Now to the pros and cons; Onion Straw burger: PROS - juicy and tasty, no lack of flavour CONS - positive burger was of the frozen variety (I'm going with President's Choice as I've had them before and they were way too similar), and although the menu says it comes with fried onions, it was just an onion ring on top Sweet potato fries: PROS - good flavour and crispy outside CONS - again, not freshly made; they were obviously frozen before reaching my plate Danny had to send his steak back because although he asked for medium (I know, I know, a steak should only be eaten medium rare at the most, but I digress...), it came out seared on both sides but still almost blue on the inside. I suggested he send it back as that was nowhere near what he had asked for. After getting it back a little while later, it wasn't much better. It was unevenly cooked, but he didn't bother sending it back a second time. It was edible, but not what he had hoped for. We shared the brownie dessert and it was probably the best part of the meal. It tasted like Reeses pieces, so good. But then again, how do you f**k up a brownie? All in all, it was a decent experience, but for what we paid, I would not return. They try to portray themselves as a classier Station des Sports, when in actuality, they are the same thing just different names. (FYI, our bill - including a pitcher of Rickard's Red - came to over 100$ including tip. A little much for a sports bar, considering we got 1 pitcher of beer).

Walking in I thought, man this place looks like a total bro bar. And there were definitely some of those guys around...you know the type, meatheads. But it's pretty nice inside, prices are decent, and the food was good. I wouldn't recommend hanging out here, but if you want to stop by and check out a habs game, this isn't a bad spot. Bottom Line: It's not the worst kind of sports bar.

We came here on a week night. The place looked dead and we were looking forward to a fun evening with great food. Our mistake. I would like to be able to say "worst service ever" but in fact "non-existing service" would be more accurate since after we were seated, the waiter disappeared for 20 minutes without saying a word. He just dropped us off with menus and peaced-out. We later saw him serve some people at a nearby table, without making eye contact with us, and then proceed to chat up some girls at the bar with his back turned to our table. After spending close to 40 minutes wondering if he would ever arrive at our table organically, without us having to shout at him (we were making bets at this point), we decided to pack up our things, stand up and push our chairs under the table. We then waited a full minute, counting down to see if he did anything (or even noticed us) but he didn't. He was too busy catering to the ladies instead of our group. So we left.

I love that place for me it's kinda of like Cheers you always see your friends there and meet cool people. The service is good but not at the main bar. The food as a great price to quality ratio.

Well it was the finals of the Coupe du Monde, and ended up in this establishment. To start, 2 things: 1st, i went to the one off of st. laurent, 2nd, the t.v.'s went out when the game was in extra time. So we arrive and I was quite impressed with the set-up for I find sports bars up here to be lacking as opposed to back home. The seating is arranged almost perfectly to where you have a great view of a screen no matter where you are, even if they are completely black b/c they all went off WHEN THE GAME WAS IN EXTRA TIME!!. Comfortable seating and a nice clean look. I was not planning on eating, but saw a lot of plates come out and the food and the presentation of "said" food catches the eye, unlike my eyes catching a glimpse of the game when it went into extra time. So I had the NACHOS OF WINDSOR, which was very delicious and did i mention that the t.v.'s went out when the game was in extra time. But the menu is not to complicated, but does have a few twist for a sports bar, a twist such as the t.v.'s going out when the game was in extra time. They even have a private area that can seat up to 14 of your friends for an event, an event such as the t.v.'s going off when whatever game you are watching goes into extra time. Service was good, and the staff was friendly even when we were not, well after all, the t.v.'s WENT OFF WHEN THE GAME WAS IN EXTRA TIME!!!. All in all, a good time, except for the, "say it aloud or to yourself", and they did get the problem fixed in time to see the lone scored goal. So if you are a sports fan, give it a try. And just pray that whatever you are watching does not go into extra time, cause in case you have not yet ascertained, the T.V.'S WILL PROBABLY GO OUT!!!!!!

My mother and I stopped by the bar to watch the Canadiens game but found all of the seats within view of the many televisions already reserved - despite the fact that the restaurant doesn't take reservations. When we finally found a table, we waited to be shown menus or addressed by any member of the waitstaff. While we waited a group was seated next to us, shown menus, ordered and received drinks. We didn't stay to discover how long it would take for them to come for our order.
