Being in Laval, the choices for breakfast is varied but I knew that I wanted to try a local bakery with some good coffee. I was surprised to see that they not only had baked goods, but a wood fired grill in the front that prepared the meat and filled the restaurant with savory spices. If you have a chance to check it out, try the Chicken Sandwich and grab one of their Cappuccinos!

I've been here a few times most of the time I get the the family combo it's kind of pricey for 25$ plus tax it's a whole chicken that comes with 2 side dishes. I get their potatoes and salad nothing special about the salad I just get it to have veggies in my meal. I really like the patates worth getting chicken taste like a traditional Portuguese style they do it a little better then other places I tried . I'm not much into sweets so I haven't tried the bake goods . I don't know a better place in Laval for Portuguese food.

Originally, I was disappointed that Patisserie Lajeunesse was created in place my favorite pizza place (that hasn't been replace in my heart... years after it has been closed!!!) but that feeling left over time with the occasional visit. Surprisingly this Patisserie offers more than baked goods, they also have grilled meats and the such.. which is pretty unusual and while I've never personally tried any of it one thing is for sure, every time I visit the grill area is pretty popular. As for the pastries go, they have what you normally find and while I've only bought cakes, they have many things that tempt me. :) Their cakes are great and never fail to impress when I host or bring to get togethers. What I like best about this place is how nice and friendly the staff is with goods that honestly compared to some other pastries, are quite economical. All in all, a great patisserie and something you try.

I never had any problems with this place before, i have the impression that a bunch of young kids took over and it shows! I have been twice in the last 2 weeks. I pre-ordered pick ups & BOTH were wrong. The first time, once we got home, the order was reversed. I called with absolutely no offer to fix the problem. In fact, the guy insisted he gave me the right order. i kept what i got since i had ppl waiting to eat. I gave them a second chance, (big waste of my time & money) The second week I Pre ordered and SPECIFICALLY ASKED for all sauces to be on the side as my kids cannot eat those sauces. When we picked it up, everything was already in a closed container & We specifically asked again, because we said last week, they messed up the order. We were assured it was our order, perfect! Got home & it was not at all what we asked for. We had to go back to get our order fixed and all my guests had to wait over 30 minutes while the food I had already set up got cold. Not to mention, I spend $97 the first time & $88 the second time. I am not interested in throwing money in the garbage. And even after going to pick up the "fixed" order they still forgot to add the sauce on the side. I don't know what is so complicated to read a piece of paper! Lastly, when i went last week, i went with my 6 year old son who had to endure inappropriate rap videos that was on the big screen tv. I'm talking about naked women's behinds shaking all over the tv. NOT GOING BACK!!! I suggest if you want to get your money's worth, go visit a place that has serious ppl running the place, not a bunch of kids.
