J'y suis allée à quelques reprises . 1-la nourriture est bien , les portions généreuses 2-la propriétaire est gentille , très (trop?) familiere avec ses clients . Je mets 2 etoiles pour l'innaction de la proprio face aux agresseurs . Sa gentillesse est un 5. 3-La clientèle est épouvantable . A chaque fois que j'y vais , quelque chose arrive et la propriétaire n'a aucun contrôle de ce qui arrive .Est-ce l'emplacement ? Pourrant je sors dans d'autres restos de chomedey et ce n'est pas comme ca . Est-ce le "apportez votre vin " ? Aujourd'hui on nous a placé à côté d'un groupe de viellies madames mal engueulées. Tout lmonde autour avait l'air bete en arrivant et je me suis demandee pourquoi ... Eh bien je me suis rendue compte trop tard, quand elles se sont mises à hurler/chanter à tue-tête (littéralement) , qu'il s'agissait des mêmes qui nous avaient gâché l'ambiance que la dernière fois. Et quand je dis hurler , j'aimerais meme pouvoir deposer la video ici . HURLER Ou etaient la serveuse et la proprio? Assises à attendre que ca passe . Comme la derniere fois ou ces saoulonnes crisit à teavers le resto . Aucune suggestion de nous deplacer, aucun commentaire aux folles d'a cote . Pour que tu te permettes d'hurler dans un resto .... ca ne roule pas rond. On a du quitter . Les vieilles madames saoules cherchaient la confrontation . Disons que le souper me reste au travers de la gorge. Je vais au resto pour passer un beau moment de detente, discuter ... et bien la on ne pouvait meme pas s'entendre . J'ai compris qu'elles venaient probablement regulierement et que la proprio etsit habituee quand elles la remerciait pour les voeux qui leur avaient ete envoyes , ses amies peut-etre.. Elle prefere probablement cette clientele un peu saoulonne et b....s. Peut-etre est-ce le profil . Une clientèle qui ne les respecte pas . Car si ces dames la respectaient, elles ne lui feraient pas perdre des clients et des sous . Je dis cela car une fois precedente, il y avait un monsieur , un habitué, qui parlait fort fort fort avec son telephone sur le speaker . Il dérangeait tout le monde autour . La proprio n'a jamais eu le gutts de l'avertir . Il est meme parti sans payer. A sa "grande surprise". Je le répète. La nourriture est bien , c'est pourquoi on y allait . Je ne mérite toutefois pas un tel traitement irrespectueux de la part du restaurant. Donc si vous etes un peu bs sur les bords, manquez de savoir vivre , c'est votre endroit . Je suis vraiment choquée de mon expérience . J'aurais du rester chez moi.

I've probably driven past Chez Lien a thousand times and never gave it a second thought but being the type of guy who wants to try out everything Laval has to offer, I came here with a co-worker to enjoy a hopefully better than average Vietnamese meal. Upon coming in, I was quite impressed by how pretty everything was. Snazzy looking purple and rose chairs, beautiful mural and very noticeable effort to make the establishment look nice. I opted for the grilled chicken with steamed veggies in a bed of crispy noodles. The chicken was fresh and well prepared and I enjoyed them a lot! The steam veggies and noddles were marinated in a ragu-like sauce that enhanced the flavor however despite enjoying my plate, I didn't expect it to be so wet and eventually the sauce overwhelming my taste palette (couldn't taste anything else). I'd definitely would like to try out another option on my next visit though. My only complaint is that I'd much prefer to be given a tea option rather than a glass of water. It makes me feel like the resto is more authentic. Service was friendly and about average when it comes to speed. For a lunch option, it's a little tight on the 1 hour time constraint. Price-tag was about average and overall, I left with a positive experience. Very pretty, enjoyable food and service was decent. 3.5 stars rounded down to 3. I'll see if I can bump this up to 4 on my next visit!

Surprisingly good. I used to go Chez Lien years ago and found everything just average. However, this one is very different. The interior is modern and renovated, the food is great from the taste to the presentation. Especially good is the spring roll.

WOW WOW and WOW... redefining Chez lien, really nice decor, great plate presentation and portion, fresh and tasty. This is nothing like the other chez lien i went to. The other chez lien where good but this one brings up the step.

I've been to a few of these locations and I have to say that the soups are amazing. Shrimp soup, wow probably the best I've tasted. I've been a couple of times and the quality has been great. I haven't tried any of the other dishes but if they're anything like the soup they should be great. Decor was ok, service was good but even if you have to wait, It's well worth it for what you get. Not that expensive either.
