Excellent food, great service, and good ambiance. The Calamari, Caesar Salad, Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken, and Stuffed Pasta were good. The Chocolate Cake was moist and decadent.

My wife, son (9) and I went here for lunch since my son requested Italian food after we had been eating mostly Peruvian food cooked at the home of our relatives and Quebecois food while in Longueuil, MTL, Trois-Rivieres and QC. We ate at Polina Pizza in Old Quebec twice earlier in the week (pasta, salads, dessert which I will review sometime). It was far better than Trebbiano. At Trebbiano we sat indoors on the late side of lunchtime on a weekday, around 2pm. We looked at what appeared to be an all-day menu with a lunch section and choose some dishes. Our waiter (who perhaps was an owner-operator or some kind of invested person) informed us that only the small lunch section of the menu we were holding was available, and that kind of threw us off. There is very little on this whole menu at all so striking a third of it off of the board was difficult since each of the three of us have our lists of will eat or will not eat items. Regrettably I fought the instinct to leave because I don't like to do that after messing up their place settings and having them serve water and all. I also grew up in a family of restaurateurs (father and uncle) so I try to not be so unforgiving about little things. The three of us each started with a Caesar salad, which was good although it was underdressed and consequently lacked flavor. This was common across all three separate plates and salad. The croutons were average and bland, which is a minor offense in Canada. I had a cheese and spinach canneloni, which is a sheet of pasta rolled with a cheese filling (can also be meat or anything). These were served with a "pink" sauce reminiscent of alla vodka but with a milder flavor. These were pretty good but heavy. The dough was probably handmade yet chewy, and the cheese was just...a lot cheese. It wasn't runny, which is good, but it was just too much and too dense. I recently had excellent canneloni earlier in the month in San Antonio, Texas of all places. So this was a disappointment. My son enjoys burrata and he insisted on ordering there. I had noticed in the past week that burrata isn't a big thing in Canada (or that part of Canada, maybe), so I was leery of how this would work out. But, we were in a self-described Italian restaurant so burrata it was. He ordered it without the balsamic, preferring just oil and basil and tomatoes as the menu described. (The menus are in French only, AFAIK.) This dish fell flat: the burrata consistency was way off; it was more like a buffalo mozzarella, the tomatoes didn't exactly shine for freshness, taste or presentation, and the basil -- this is hard to believe -- was just sprinkled dry basil. He's just a kid but he was really disappointed and ate it like a good sport along with bread. My wife tried the pollo al limone and she didn't have anything good to say about it. She eats chicken francese, chicken piccata and similar dishes all of the time here in New York and when we travel. To be honest I didn't try it but the sauce looked a little thick and the portion was a good lunch size. The one thing that stands out is that the place failed to deliver on the Italian basics such as a properly made Caesar salad and it executed a burrata salad quite incorrectly. This was just lunch but at CAD 100 I felt it was just a mess. Sorry I don't have photos but we were kind of hungry when the items arrived. You're not missing much outside of what they show in other photos here, on Google, or on their website.

Went there for my brothers birthday on a Saturday night. It didn't start off very good. Only 2 servers and the helpers did not speak English or French, so any communication with them was nil. I'm not going to write a big essay but the food lacked flavour, we felt like we were being rushed bc they had a busy night ahead which we related that it wasn't our problem. Our server maybe felt over whelmed but he wasn't very pleasant. We will not return or recommend this place unfortunately. We did have a good time with lots of laughter because we were family celebrating a milestone but as a foodie my palette was not happy!

Wonderful food, superb service, great atmosphere and just a fantastic experience! We went to celebrate my husband's birthday and it was absolutely perfect. My husband had the Veal Trebbiano and I had the Veal Piccatta, both were delightful and delicious. Our server surprised him with a "melt in your mouth" teramasu and a sparkler! You will not regret going for a special occasion or just a great meal.

Good food. Not a lot of good Italian restaurants in Longueuil. But Trebbiano is a good place to visit. We ordered veal parmigiana which was not on the menu. But they made it for us, and it was fabulous.

ATMOSPHERE: It's a very nice little restaurant with classy decor. Although it was slightly cramped when it got busy. FOOD: Food was good. I was kind of disappointed with their meal... I had their gnocchi (which didn't fill me up at all, disappointing especially knowing how heavy gnocchi should be). The menu itself was pretty short as well... Overall, the meals were decent. I will not be coming back here unfortunately. PRICE: Overpriced meals unfortunately. It's supposed to be a higher end restaurant but the meals they served didn't really match the description and reputation of the restaurant. SERVICE: The staff were very friendly. They did what they had to do and were quite nice! (Even if they messed up one of our orders)

Trebbiano had excellent reviews on TripAdvisor so we decided to give it a whirl. Making a reservation was simple and the person on the line spoke English which was a help. When we arrived we were met by Bruno who was extremely effusive and gregarious as he led us to our seats. We had no idea what he was saying but the other patrons nodded and smiled and we simply hoped he wasn't calling us names behind our backs. His charm was infectious and we couldn't help but smile with him. The wine list was lacking in depth and in any wines that had true character but I understand the Canadian palette to be expectant of wines that are fruity and flowery. I prefer wines with a bit more grit and dirt...the closest of which was a Gabbiano Chianti Classico Reserva...while there were some Puglian and Sardinian wines the majority were overly fruit forward. Because I was having a sausage appetizer I selected a glass of the Ruffino Orvietto and we had a perfectly acceptable d'Abruzzo with our main course as it went with nearly everything and was harmless. My sausage came slightly overcooked but still delicious on a bed of lightly dressed arugula. The light and fresh Orvietto cut the salt and fat of the sausage perfectly. All of our mains (all primi's) were well executed but one in our party thought the risotto was a bit too large of a portion. My Carbonara was deliciously salty and creamy. Dessert was taken to a whole new level with a caramel cheesecake covered in bacon. Yes bacon. Simply awesome. And when completed with a simple Sambucca the meal was a rousing success. When on the South shore of Montreal be sure to seek out Trebbiano.

Very good. Had the stuffed medallions a la gigi which was very good. For dessert had the cheesecake with bacon has seen on previous reviews and have to say it was very good!!!! My dinner guest had the linguine with seafood, wow what a dish and it was an excellent dish! Will definitely return.

I took my 2 teenagers with me (picky eaters) they devoured their plates. Service was great, food cooked to perfection, we are new to this area, we are definitely coming back.. my daughter had insane meatballs, we all tried them.. she also had prosciutto pizza, was thin and flavourful! My son had rare filet mignon and Gigi pasta, filet was tender, pasta was al dente and full of really great combinations in sauce. I had ridiculous smoked salmon & trout, both a 10/10. We forgot to try their famous cheesecake, next time! A great spot, 3 happy customers.. thank you
