Nous avons loué une voiture pour le week-end. Le véhicule en lui même était propre, et correspondait aux exigences. Le personnel au comptoir est aimable, quoi que poussant à prendre des options inutiles, comme il est de coutume de nos jours j'imagine. MAIS: j'ai fait le plein du réservoir juste avant de rendre le véhicule de l'autre côté de la rue, et j'ai au la mauvaise surprise d'être facturé 9$ car d'après l'entreprise, le réservoir n'était plein qu'au 15/16. Si vous avez affaire avec cette entreprise, prenez des preuves de TOUT.

Do not rent from this place. I rented a van on Sat September 5, 2020 and paid the rate for one day rental with the optional CDW coverage. Pick up was at 9:30 and I returned it at 1pm, which was 1 hour after their closing time on Saturday which is 12pm. I even informed that I will be returning and dropping the key in their drop box. The bill I received via email first thing in the morning of Tue September 8, 2020 was incorrectly calculated and I got overcharged by about $40. To add insult to injury, they sent a separate email 9 hours later claiming I owe them $1000 for the deductible on the CDW for insignificant scratches on plastic parts and bumper, which I didn't even cause. I wrote back to them and will wait a day to see what they say, but what a scam this place is, and waste of my time to now have to deal with this. I would give them 0 stars if that were an option. I'm attaching photos they sent of the so called damage. Again, I didn't create these minor scratches. It's a moving van. It's going to get little scratches in any case. These aren't even dents. I seriously doubt that they will even fix these, even though they are seeking to collect $1000 from me. Globe corporate customer service, if you see this, you better make this right. You owe me a huge apology and retraction of your fabricated and ridiculous claim. Needless to say, I will never rent from this place again and will be spreading the word about this scammer of a company.

Called for a 4hr cargo rental and was told it was possible and when I got there a full day rental was changed. I have a gold card ,which when used, pays for the insurance but they wanted a printed copy of the benefits or it wasn't accepted. So a $40-$50 expense at U-Haul becomes a $200-$240 charge by Globe

Charged me 200 dollars for a car they never provided. Incapable of doing their jobs, Incapable of communicating in either English or French. Seems like a bait and switch scam.

Terrible service! I gave these guys a second chance but the service is missing a lot of things. The basic communication of services and penalties, insurance and prices that raise once you are at the counter (where you were supposed to pay 19$ at the end of the day you have a bill of 100$ (plus 105$ charged on your credit card for 4days). The first time the guy evidently overcharged the rental in high season so I complained about the big last minute change of price, so he told me that I could have used the truck for all the time I wanted. I didn't get the "all the time you want". Then I understood once I returned the truck at noon where the GLOBE place was closed! There I faced the huge lack of communication. So I had to find a free parking (which I didn't calculate as I tought I could parked and give the truck back once done with the moving). When back the day after there was nobody and I run into a guy there who randomly told me I could have put the key in the box. Of course I didn't know what he was talking about as nobody explained me that when they are not at the counter and the place is closed you can still return the key by placing them in a safe box located outside the main door. Anyway! The second time has been even worst: the truck had a problem which they didn't mention before giving me the truck. The guy, still, didn't tell a bunch of important info (but I kind of knew that they were not too eloquent). Anyway, during the whole trip I had that annoying continuous sound of when you don't have your seat belt. Imagine that sound for the whole trip (4h no stop). Horrible! Anyway what they could do was a discount of 15$, that's all! The worst experience ever!

BEWARE of Fraudulent damage claims: My husband rented a van on 26 Nov 2020, for 24 hours, from Globe Car& Truck Rentals. When he rented he took their CDW insurance - the policy had a $1,000 deductible for vans and trucks. On the sketch of pre-existing damage we received when we rented the van, many areas were marked as already damaged. We had no accident, and caused no damage, and returned the vehicle in the evening. The next day my husband received a message informing him there was damage, with a photo indicating this was on an area that already had damage according to their sketch. He sent them the vehicle sketch, which clearly showed the damage was already there. Six weeks later they wrote to say they had reviewed the file, and decided we had indeed caused new damage, then a few days later another email saying the estimate was over the deductible, so they charged $1,000 to our card. Despite written requests, they never sent us prior photos, nor the date and time the photo of damage was taken, nor the garage estimate, nor proof of actual repairs. In summary - no documentation of the damage, nor of the repairs. I strongly recommend you avoid renting from Globe Car& Truck Rentals, or they may charge you for damages without proof, or explanation.

Unlike the other review, we got great customer service and a quick check in/check out. Maybe they improved things since then.

Worst customer service. High rates and the check out process takes almost an HOUR!!! Only worth it if ur going to the states. NEVER AGAIN!!!
