I visited this place because an acquaintance was serving as a "temp" bartender that night (and could therefore, get us in for free). It didn't take long to realize this was a part of their marketing scam, since they charged me ridiculous amounts for coat check and drinks once I was inside (about double of what a typical club in the area would charge). They had worst DJ ever: horrible music selection, bad scratching, and just turning the speakers way too high. The crowd was also horrible. On one side was an older crowd in full 3-piece suits, and on the other side were seemingly underage teenagers. Not a good mix. This place was advertised as Ivy Nightclub, but a quick search revealed that it shared the same address as this Orchid Nightclub.

This place is a SCAM. I cannot believe such a horrible, fraudulent club is still in business. They "hired" me as a barmaid, which I came to learn wasn't a hire at all. Basically they brought me in, didn't pay me, didn't let me stand behind the bar to train, but rather had me bring my friends and Promote for nothing. It's a shitty club for starters. The club is small, once room, the people who go there are super young, and the staff are really unprofessional. Daniella is the trainer, and training is something she didn't know how to do. They even said they will pay you for bringing in 15 people and over...never got paid. EVEN THOUGH I brought in a lot of people. This shit hole should be shut down as it's against the law to not pay your staff and to hire people under false pretenses. DO NOT GO HERE.

This is now called the Ivy Club. It is a terrible place, they simply want to grab your money, they provide a very poor service for what they charge. The fee for the coat check is ridiculous! I agree with everything Don L. said in his review of this place. Will not be going back.
