Came here with a girl friend visiting Montreal with me. Horrible experience. Place was at capacity even though one of the promoters "supposedly had a table for us". Even after people were leaving we ended up being the last people let in after two hours of waiting and constant people pushing their way to the front. Even the men in line weren't gentlemen and pushed through us and were let in. Even when a snobby girl called the bouncer a piece of s*** the other people working there made him let her in... but respectful patrons waited outside two hours. Anyway, drinks were watered down. Music was just ok. Place was dirty and crowded. Not even a nice club. No class. Not worth all the fuss. By the time we got in it was 2:15. Ridiculous experience. Don't suggest it to anyone. If you're from US visiting, don't waste your time, there are much more beautiful clubs.

This place is absolutely terrible. The bouncers are on an awful power trip and I saw a guy threaten to beat up a girl the night I went. Instead of appropriately handling the situation some massive bouncer man handles her (can you imagine a guy bouncer being aggressive to a drunk girl? *racist*) and throws her out. It was embarrassing to watch and honestly very poor form. Not safe. Don't recommend at all.

i was very very disappointed with the service at somwhr this weekend. i reserved a guest list of 14+ people online--only to find out the day of the reservation (after i called to confirm, not them) that i was not able to have a guest list of that many people without getting bottles. i told him i would take 1 bottle if it meant i could keep my reservation but then informed me that i would have to get at least 4 bottles for the amount of people. had i not called to confirm, they would have charged me for 4 bottles when i got there! the customer service was really terrible & they lost a lot of customers due to it! never going here again

Terrible experience at Somwhr. Waited in line for over an hour, the bouncers are entitled and rude. This place had been recommended to me by a friend, but I soon realized that it is complete garbage compared to the other nightlife in Montreal. Do not go here unless you are prepared to wait outside for over an hour and get insulted by the bouncers and the manager at the door. There are many better places to go out in the Old Port if you are looking for that... don't go here.

the bottle service girls are really nice and give great service but the bouncers are rude, the bar is packed(3 drinks were spilled on me while I walked to the bathroom), many aggressive guys and a vodka red bull was $27. not worth it at all.
