Highly anticipated this meal as it earned Michelin 1 star. It was a 2-hour drive to get there and it’s situated in an industrial looking building.

The interior of the restaurant was beautiful and cozy, servers were professional, however the food was mediocre. The servers explained that there’s a farm on site and a lot of the ingredients were grown on site, indicating how fresh they were.

One of the most memorable dishes was one single tiny ball of potato that was grown in their own farm. All I can say is that it is a potato. Other dishes were fresh and tasted okay but nothing close to Michelin standard. For a meal it was alright but for the price, and the fact that it was in the middle of nowhere, meaning you’d have to plan a trip there, is not worth the time or money to me personally.

Came here once during the pandemic and during Fall 2024 (just before they received the Michelin 1 star!).
Both times the service was amazing. Staff are very attentive, and if one mistake is discovered, they would apologize and correct it right away, even bringing in complementary drinks or food. At one point the staff were bringing out the food, and I had to quickly use the washroom. They said they would wait for me before setting down the food and explaining the ingredients. I sat my butt down as I did not want the staff to wait for me (lol).
The menu changes per season. The tasting menu never disappoints. I’m not a wine drinker so I can’t really say much with the wine pairings. The sourdough bread is to die for!
Definitely recommend to everyone and I’ll be visiting again in the near future. Congrats on the Michelin star! Well deserved!

We’d been looking forward to eating here for a long time, and it delivered. Overall incredible meal. Service was top notch. Tasting menu had a variety of dishes (much locally sourced) and the flavours were spot on. The wine pairing was one of the best I’ve had. I was expecting just PM wines, but there was a good mix of new and old world, and they complemented the dishes perfectly. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Some tips on elevating the experience even further:
- consider a complementary bakery take-away (eg small bag with scone and local jam)
- printed list of wine pairings in addition to food menu
- using names when server greeting guests at table
