Elegant restaurant, greeted warmly by the beautiful ladies at the reception, coat checked with care and handed me a beautiful red rose~ That was lovely!

The menu appeared light at first glance, but the dishes turned out to be incredibly fulfilling. The Pain au Lait was a delightful starter, perfectly baked and delicious. The Terrine de foie gras was a work of art, beautifully presented and bursting with unique flavors. My personal favorite dish of the evening was the Morue et Homard, a tantalizing lobster mousse bouillabaisse rouille that left me craving more. The flavor and textures in this dish was great, making it a standout highlight of the night.

The dining experience was exceptional and very fulfilling.

Hands down one of the best dining experiences in Toronto. My fiancé and I had our 7th year anniversary dinner at this wonderful restaurant and it was also our first time being there.

First - There is an underground parking lot, where you can park instead of outdoor, which is great and the restaurant validates your ticket.

Once you walk in, they take your coat and hang it for you, which is also great especially in winter.

We didn’t order appetizers, because we wanted to try Châteaubriand, which is a 16oz tenderloin, brassicas, pommes Anna, potato espuma, gaufrette, onion, Bordelaise sauce and they cut and plate it by your table. Our server warned us that it would take some time to get the food ready, which we appreciated the heads up/his honesty and started with some cocktails. Although we didn’t order appetizers, we got to try two different/wonderful amuse-bouche on the house. The main dish was also beyond delicious.

For dessert, we shared creme brulee and the restaurant treated us with a delicious cake and a personalized card, which was a nice touch.

Overall, we have been to many restaurants in the world and always seek new dining experiences and this place, without a doubt had one of the best services I have seen/experienced. Our server was sharp, friendly, knowledgeable and generous with his time to share recommendations with us. Service was definitely 20/10. Food was 15/10. Although it is on the pricier side, it definitely is a must experience.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with this recent visit.  The presentation of all the dishes was beautiful however🥰 I am not a connoisseur but I’ve been around many places and in different countries to reflect that the Hamachi appetizer was yet to be desired.  The flavour of the fish was not there.  The fois gras appetizer had some interesting texture and blend on the palate with its partially sweet sauce and crunch of the nuts.  The cod fish dish and duck with steak dish was unfortunately nothing special.  I was anticipating some layers of decadence which I could put together with dishes like these in my own kitchen.
However, presentation of the dishes and the ambiance was beautiful and our server was incredible!  My experience last summer and the other visits before were better than last week’s visit.  I’m still on the fence if we should come back…

Came here for the first time for the winterlicious menu and to check out a potential wedding venue. The service was amazing, Andrew went above and beyond to answer our questions about the wedding piece. The food was great, the soup and beef were delicious. I was not a fan of either dessert I tried but it wasn't a dealbreaker in the experience. The atmosphere was really nice but also be prepared that it's very warm inside with the fireplaces going. Will definitely come back again.

I came here for a Valentine’s Day dinner and it was horrible. Food quality and service was subpar for the half a thousand dollar price point. Would NOT recommend anyone come here.

First was the appetizer which consisted of oysters, beef tartare and tuna. The first thing we had was the tuna and it was HORRIBLE, it tasted WAYY too fishy. I couldn’t finish it and gave it to my boyfriend.

The second course was a seafood salad with crab and shrimp and it tasted fishy and way too salty. As I tried my best to stomach the salad, I tasted shrimp shells which I think is unbelievable and outrageous for the price point that we paid for this meal

Overall, my experience here was abhorrent and I will never even consider coming back to this place.

Så glad att vi åt middag på denna eleganta franska restaurang (“Apple Tree Inn”) på Yonge Street i York Mills för att fira min födelsedag. Service som tillhandahålls av Fred och Jeff var oklanderlig. Det fanns en meny dégustation på CAD 185 , och ytterligare CAD 125 med vin parningar, men vi hoppade över alkoholen och valde à la carte-rätter. Till att börja med hade vi Pain au Lait, och mocktails, Esprit Libre (söt och bitter) och Sauvage (fruktig, elegant, ljus och levande). Därefter kom den söta amuse bouche, följt av Foie Gras Poêlé Vol - au - ventilator - ljus och välsmakande brynt gåslever med sura körsbär, svamp och lönn verjus och Armagnac jus, tillsammans med en väl - presenterade bladig sallad garnerad med vacker vattenmelon rädisa. Men höjdpunkten i måltiden var den enda meunière - mör Dover tunga drized med meunière sås, tillsammans med olika återgivningar av potatis och texturer, såsom potatis espuma och gaufrette. Efterrätten var Pomme d’Auberge - en hyllning till restaurangen - och den gjordes för att se ut som ett klarrött äpple... som påminde oss om Snövit. Yum. För ett speciellt tillfälle eller bara en tillfällig behandling för att fira livet, kolla in Auberge du Pommier. Maten, atmosfären och personalen var helt enkelt underbar. Rekommenderas starkt!

Vacker restaurang och utmärkt service. Extremt dyrt och mycket lite mat för priset. Vi beställde ankbröst. 5 små bitar anka och en rödbeta! En annan i vårt sällskap beställde laxen. Tallriken var lika tom. Definitivt inte värt pengarna. Skulle inte rekommendera denna restaurang.

Låt mig börja med att säga fantastisk gästservice och utmärkt presentation av alla rätter, men maten var i allmänhet en stor besvikelse. Bröd och smör till en extra kostnad var mycket bra. Njöt av cocktail val som rekommenderas. Duck Terrine, fantastiska pipor av gelee, såg mycket bra ut, terrin torr och smaklös. Marmite var inte riktigt vad som förväntades, veloute, verkligen en tunn stock, fisk fint tillagad. Nötkött Bourguignon var den största besvikelsen, jag älskar en god rejäl “gryta”, återigen härlig presentation, men tydligt monterad efter matlagning och nötkött brändes (bokstavligen) och seg... byttes ut så fort jag påpekade till server. Byte inte riktigt lika illa. För en fransk stil restaurang, rakt Chef behöver en kick upp a ***. Efterrätter, esp chokladkaka var dålig, pappa. Servern var exceptionell, interagerade väl, lyssnade på min feedback och tackade mig. Maten höll bara inte måttet, kändes som “bara Winterlicious” attityd till maten, slarvade vrår, om du ska vara med i kampanjen behandla det seriöst.

Underbar atmosfär. Vår servitör Chad var fantastisk, uppmärksam och gjorde vår kväll speciell. Vi har haft Winterlicious menyn.

Mycket pretentiöst, över - dyrt franskt. Små portioner, småaktig prissättning. De erbjuder inte parkering till Winterlicious kunder trots att restaurangen ligger bredvid 401. Mycket småaktig. Vi har en ankterrin med en väldigt tunn skiva knäckebröd. Franskt bröd kostar extra. Smaken överlag var oanständig. 200 dollar (för 2 ) för lite paté, en liten bit nötkött och en skopa sorbet med en brownie. Vilken bluff! Jag kunde ha gått till Barberians eller någon annan dyr restaurang och ätit bättre för mindre.

Bokade bord för Winterlicious. Miljön är vacker och elegant. Vi satt direkt med ett fantastiskt bord. Vår server kom snabbt och var inbjudande. Menyn för Winterlicious-menyn verkade spännande men när den serverades och smakades motsvarade den inte våra förväntningar. Min partner beställde salladen som kom med vad som verkade vara en deg typ av bollar som kanske var att repalce krutonger. Dessa degbollar var väldigt intetsägande och gjorde inget för att förbättra salladen. Dessutom var salladen romansallad med ett hönsägg som var pocherat men återigen hade mycket lite smak och gjorde ingenting för att förbättra rätten. Vår huvudrätt, biff och revben tillsammans med pastan var underväldigande. Pastan drunknade i en tjock ostsås vilket var helt okej. Mina partners kammusslor potatis som följde med hennes maträtt var okokta i mitten. Efterrätten var en chokladkaka och en romkaka. Romkakan smakade som om den var frusen och hade inte tinat helt då den var kall och tät i mitten. Choklad torte smakade inte som om det var gjort i huset och mer som en livsmedelsbutik kedja torte. Maten var en besvikelse men servicen var uppskattad. Skulle inte nödvändigtvis boka bord på denna restaurang igen.

Personalen är mycket artig och professionell. Maten är fantastisk. Hög kvalitet och god mat. Jag beställde anka och den var riktigt god. Cocktail är gott också. Faktum är att priset är lite högt men förväntas från fransk restaurang

Hade en utmärkt middag upplevelse. . . . varje rätt var trevlig och servicen var utmärkt. Våra vin- och vattenglas fylldes regelbundet på och servern gav oss tid mellan kurserna. Sammantaget en fantastisk upplevelse.

Vi gick för summerlicious en vecka sedan och hade en fantastisk middag som gjorts ännu bättre av s stora server - Tack Andrew. Vi bestämde oss för att åka tillbaka igår kväll och det var raka motsatsen. Vi äter ute ofta och ALDRIG har vi blivit serverade en så hemsk biff som det som lades framför oss. Den var alldeles fet och spröd och borde aldrig ha lämnat köket. . Skäms på dig Auberge för att du inte är konsekvent.

Om du känner till någon av mina tidigare restaurangrecensioner, vet du att min fru och jag är fast övertygade om att utmärkt mat betyder ingenting med överlägsen kundservice. Matens rykte på Auberge du Pommier är väletablerat, under mästerlig curation och ledning av kocken Solomon Mason, men det är servicen som gör matupplevelsen verkligen värt besväret. Min fru och jag hade deltagit i ett bröllop här förra sommaren och var förvånad över kvaliteten och beredningen av maten, och den genuina omsorg och uppmärksamhet som det presenterades med. Så när möjligheten att närvara vid årets Summerlicious dök upp så hoppade vi på chansen. Atmosfären är både rustik och elegant på samma gång, vilket gör att du känner dig som om du är på en speciell plats utformad just för dig. Till förrätt valde vi båda nötköttstartaren med hasselnötter, brun smörmajonnäs och baguette. Smakerna var delikata, subtila, men ändå lyxiga. Till huvudrätt valde vi Duck Confit, med Hudson Valley anka cassoulet, lardon och pärllök. Men innan det hann komma, gav vår förtjusande server, Krista, oss en extra huvud att dela eftersom vi nämnde att det var vår årsdag veckan därpå; Ricotta Mezzelune pastarätt, med valnötter, ruccola, stracciatella och citron. Det var en vacker, delikat överraskning. Nu tillbaka till vår huvud, Main: Jag älskar anka, men har aldrig ätit en anka confit förut. Och om jag någonsin skulle prova det, ville jag att det skulle göras rätt. Gjordes det nånsin rätt? Rikt och smakrikt kött, med en lätt, krispig hud som smälte i munnen, vilket bara lämnar en välbalanserad salt godhet. Till efterrätt åt vi båda chokladtorte, med kakaonibs och trädgårdsmynta. Mycket rik och tillfredsställande. MEN, eftersom min fru hade haft svårt att välja mellan det och Citrontårta med bränd maräng och basilika, tog de också med oss en portion av det att dela. Den var vacker att titta på, och kanske lite åt det söta hållet, men utsökt ändå. Även när Krista inte omedelbart kunde tillgodose våra behov skickade hon sin kollega Sylvio för att titta till oss. Och han gjorde det inte som om det vore en börda att tolerera, utan som om det var ett nöje att få vara en del av vår matupplevelse. Och det är nyckeln. Hela personalen, från Chef Sol ända ner, verkade driven av ett mål och ett enda mål: att ge kunden den bästa möjliga upplevelsen. Och det var det vi hade. Det är inte billigt, och det är inte alltid en garanti för kvalitet. Men om du någonsin känner för att knuffa ut båten för ett speciellt tillfälle, är Auberge du Pommier en upplevelse som verkligen är värd att ha.

Vi åt nyligen middag här och kom bort mycket imponerad och nöjd. Härlig atmosfär. Trevlig effektiv service överlag. Skulle definitivt återvända.

Fantastisk middag på Auberge ikväll. Vår server Matt var fantastisk! Kunnig, välkomnande och den perfekta balansen mellan uppmärksam men inte påträngande. Sommarlik meny var en av de bästa jag har sett. Nötkött Tartar aptitretare var bortom läckra, Cornish höna romesco sås var enastående och ost urval dessert avrundade måltiden perfekt. Rekommenderar starkt!

Besökte med två vänner under Winterlicious. Vårt bord låg i ett lugnt hörn och de matta golv, välvda tak och vita dukar dämpade de omgivande ljuden och skapade för god konversation. Jag började med Duck Liver Mousse, följt av en perfekt nötköttstam och en ostkaka-tårta. Mina kamrater hade också anka leverparfaiten till att börja med och följde med en atlantisk torsk. Torsken såg helt enkelt ut för mig men den var tydligen smakrik. Sidorna var tilltalande och välsmakande och även om delarna var små var de tillfredsställande. Tjänsten var vänlig och uppmärksam Vi fick en räkning och kämpade med att beräkna våra respektive avgifter, eftersom jag hade vin och kaffe utöver menyn prix fixe. Vår server märkte och erbjöd sig att ge oss våra respektive räkningar. Vi var tacksamma. Jag skulle definitivt vilja återvända med min make, kanske under sommaren när vi kan sitta på deras vackra, vin täckta terrasse.

Menyn för Winterlicious ger ett utmärkt urval av rätter för varje kurs. Som en tabell med fyra, slutade vi med att prova det mesta på menyn. All mat var enastående. Tjänsten var mycket bra särskilt med tanke på hur upptagen restaurangen var. Vi fick utmärkta vinrekommendationer från sommelieren. En fantastisk upplevelse totalt sett.
