Very nice gardens close to Lake Ontario.  Flowers and trees are beautiful, with paved walking paths throughout.  Seems a great location for special occasions, such as wedding photos.  Most trees and plants do not have identifying signs, though some do, especially when the tree has been planted as a memorial or a celebration of a special event.

A very nice and beautifully kept park that's free for the public.
This park was given to the people of Toronto by her husband R. Watson McClain and her son Colonel John McClain.  January 1st, 1959.

Lots of flowers. Pictures say everything. Washrooms and free parking.
Rock fountain near the middle.

Great for pictures. Good for a walk and a picnic.

There are a lot of newborn squirrels 🥹 It is almost impossible to see the sea view, especially if the weather is not very sunny. I thought the view I saw was a cloud 😅 Other than that, it is a very quiet and not crowded park. It can be crowned with nice walks. I liked it very much. Also, thank you for the free sunscreen machine at the door🩵

I had been wanting to go to Edward’s gardens for a while and completely missed this hidden gem just 15 minutes away. Very quite garden with gorgeous flowers. We took lots of photos and had a walk around. We were here on a week day morning and many of the other visitors were elderly. Chipmunks and squirrels would come up to us and then run away when they saw we didn’t have anything to offer. A definite must visit if you are in the area.

It used to be a lovely place. Peaceful and rejuvenating. Signs posting No Picnics is disregarded and no longer enforced.  Smoking is prohibited but continues. Bike riding by adults and children has increased in the boulder fountain area. Uncalled for and disturbing.

On Sunday, a father was washing his kids' faces and hands in the fountain stream. They came back MULTIPLE times. An older man, probably the grandfather, joined them at one point (he was the smoker from their picnic circle).

Thank God for the nature enthusiasts. Watching, identifying, photographing, and appreciating butterflies, birds, flowers, etc., quietly and in peace.  This is a GARDEN after all, NOT A PARK.
