Excellent coffee and a fresh selection of savory and sweet pastries. Plenty of seating inside and outside, great for co-working space. Seemed like it was a good mix of locals and visitors. We tried the latte, ice cold mocha, cinnamon bun (warmed) and the pastry with the tomato and cheese inside. A memorable coffee shop. The pastries were so delicious esp since they were warmed. Plenty of different coffee to buy and take home. Enjoy!!

Fresh Costa Rican coffee is served here. Sample one or a few, get a bag or a couple?!
They have some sweet and savory pastries to go with your coffee. Chicken quiche was a bit chewy cause of all the cheese at the top, it was also dense, no fluffy egg consistency. Cinnamon bun and banana chocolate bread were OK.

Low quality coffee beans, slow and bad service
Also the bad says light roast and the beans inside were a dark medium roast.

Really a great coffee experience! Since we were there in 2021, we have ordered coffee from Café Monteverde every time to our home in Germany.
To date, there is no better coffee in the world and there is something for everyone as the store offers a wide selection.
