We had our wedding here in March of 2022 and people still rave about what a great venue this was.
There are different types of lodging to choose from.  Villas, adult only rooms/areas, child friendly rooms/areas, etc.  We had some friends staying in the cheapest rooms available.  We had some stay in more mid range rooms, some in villas.  We stayed in the cockpit cabana and the honeymoon suit (the "ocean view" was actually an unobstructed ocean view.  AMAZING). No matter where you stay, you will likely meet a few monkeys and get a great value for where you choose. Every single person was satisfied with what they were provided.  I now know that people are being honest because it's been over two years and we still get asked how we found such a perfect place.
The property has different types of cuisine.  Our group was impressed with the breakfast restaurant.  What a view.  I loved the pizza.  The food is nothing fancy but there is a wide range and it is convenient and good.  If you aren't feeling what they have to offer, there are so many other places nearby.
The adult pool has an absolutely breathtaking view of the ocean/Manuel Antonio park.
The grounds are green.  The atmosphere feels authentic.  The staff was WONDERFUL.  We loved Marcella at the front desk and the bartender Willy.  The staff also escorted my elderly parents down a hill to their room every night.
As far as the wedding venue itself, we had appetizers on the knoll.  Went to dinner and watched Costa Rican dancers (so fun!) in the pavilion and then returned to the knoll for fire dancers and pizza.  We could not have asked for anything better!
Highly suggest for a vacation or event.  I don't think you will be disappointed!
I cannot wait to go back!

Such a unique hotel. Room was very spacious with an amazing ocean view from the balcony. We saw monkeys everyday from our balcony. Amazing location, walking distance to the beach and El Avion restaurant. Hotel is located close to Manuel Antonio National Park and is a short drive to Quepos and Marina Pez Vela. We loved exploring the property and seeing the many converted planes.

Not impressed.   Arrived after a 5.5 hours drive from Arenal area.   Pathways are narrow and steep,  stairs are uneven in spacing, attendants were courteous but not overly helpful.   No map in room of the area.  The room is not bad but the even with all the lights on it is dim in here.   Not helped by the nearly constant rainfall.   Was told this was one of the best areas to visit in Costa Rica.   So far,  not seeing it.

We stayed at Hotel Costa Verde for our honeymoon for about 6 days. We enjoyed our stay for the most part.

The resort didn’t really help in making us feel like we were on our honeymoon (while the other resort we are staying at has). We stayed in the penthouse to go all out for the honeymoon but it didn’t really feel lavish at all, and we probably could’ve done with a cheaper room.The resort has four restaurants that are included on the property that we walked to every day. The service at the restaurants was always impeccable, especially at Anaconda, where we had breakfast at everyday. The food was always delicious, at all of the restaurants! Our favorite restaurants were El Avión and Anaconda. Everyone at the resort was so nice/friendly and helpful, from front desk staff, to waiters and waitresses, to the security guards. The adult only pool was a great way to relax. Willie was also awesome!

One thing that did make me feel a little nervous was the insect and bugs situation. Obviously I know we’re in Costa Rica and there’ll be bugs, but there was just many bugs that made the room feel very unclean. We had what looked like these giant biting ants, ants with wings, and then these little tiny micro bugs all over the kitchen that wouldn’t go away. There was also a hornet nest on our balcony, and one managed to get into our room at one point. There was also mold on the fridge, which made me question the cleaning. Additionally, the lighting in the bathroom wasn’t great. Overall though, we did have a nice stay at the resort.

I don’t think we’d stay there again, but it was pretty cool and again the staff was amazing. It was nice to be surrounded by the wildlife, as we saw lots of monkeys, sloths, and birds around us.

We stayed 3 nights in 3 different accomodations here. First the Fuselage home, then the Skyloft, then a standard room. The Fuselage home was very cool, but a bit dated. We had monkeys visit us on the deck, and the jungle view was great (we saw a toucan!). The Skyloft was easily the most amazing place we've ever stayed. The views are to die for, the layout is great, and the proximity to the restaurant was really nice (they even brought us a to-go order right to our deck!). On the final night we stayed in the A section, which was great for its proximity to the pool and still had a great sunset view from the deck. The hotel arranged tours for us and that went seamlessly. Costa Verde was a great place to stay.
