They do not have an indoor sitting. Their tables are on the sidewalk. Limited seating, you will share a table with other people. I thought the price is set but prices vary per plate. Okay food, great presentation and they explain whats the ingredients/story of each plate each round. They only accepts cash!

So nice, we did it twice. You wouldn't know it looking at it, but this might be as close as you can get to fine dining—while sitting in the street. No reservations, no menu, cash-only. The kitchen is small and open to the sidewalk. The freedom that this seemingly restrictive premise offers is a little hard to describe. Sit down, and let the food come to you. When you're done, simply pay for what you ate. And we had a hard time saying "done," as every dish offered something new to explore, while always keeping corn at the center. If you plan on going multiple times, I recommend choosing different hours each time to get a different range of dishes—the menu is seasonal, but it remains fixed for the season. As a side note, the honors-system payment method was something I hadn't seen before; the staff told us that people tend to stress about not having cash when they realize they need it, but someone there will gladly point you to the nearest ATM, or simply let you go and allow you to pay when you can. People have even come back to pay months later, but they always pay. I believe that speaks more to the magnetism of the place than the kind-heartedness of strangers, kind as everyone we encountered was. Come, sit, eat, and watch the kitchen staff dance and laugh together. You won't regret it.

One of the more unique restaurant formats I’ve been to during my visit to Mexico City. There was no menu (but they did cater to dietary restrictions), and they’d bring out one unique plate after another until you tap out. Every plate was delicious, beautiful, and uniquely flavorful. I came here during opening and was immediately seated, otherwise expect a wait.

So far this is our favourite meal by far we had in CMDX, which is impressive given the high level of competition in the city. I think the other reviews are valid (you don’t really know what to expect in terms of the cost of total bill at the end) but this does not detract from the quality of the food that is served. I think you could ask for the server to be more explicit about pricing if you have a strict budget especially since it’s cash only.

We really love how many fresh greens are served on each taco. The flavours of each dish were completely different. I usually do not like corn tortillas but I could eat these all day. The dessert was absolutely incredible as well, but we were glad we shared one (instead of getting 2).

I would recommend this experience to anyone visiting the city. We will be back before we leave!

The coolest vibe. You sit at a large black table with whoever else is eating. The kitchen makes a new dish and asks you if you want more food until you say stop. There is no menu and it’s cash only. If you don’t have cash on you, they say “No worry, you can go to an ATM for cash and pay us later today, or next week, or next month.” The honour system makes the experience even better. They explain each dish and make each one up on the spot. We met some really cool people and this was by far one of our favourite places we went. It is the one I’ll miss the most!
