I had my laptop stolen from inside my locked hotel room while I was out.
I had left my laptop discretely packed in my backpack, and left it inside my hotel room. I'm very careful with expensive items while travelling. I had used my laptop the day before, and on the last day of my stay, I discovered that my laptop had been removed when I woke up to work at 6am. Thankfully, no other items were taken.

Management was less than prompt in investigating - I noticed at 6am and immediately spoke to the front desk, a security team came to my room and looked under the bed at about 10am, with standard checkout at 11am. I was not shown any security footage, only told that "they didn't see anything unusual." While I appreciate any amount of attention being paid, and I'm sure that there have been other travelers who reported something stolen only to find it under their bed, I would have hoped for other steps to be taken - such as interviews with housekeeping staff and reviews of security footage. I was not allowed to see security footage. The hotel did offer a late checkout, however, the keycards we were given stopped working at 11am and it took multiple trips back to the front desk to get them working again, sort of defeating the point.

I was very frustrated to receive absolutely no follow-up communication or even a response from the hotel despite emailing them repeatedly for multiple days. I was assured that the hotel would follow up with staff and review keycard logs, however, I have heard nothing.

Unfortunately can not recommend this hotel due to major security issues.

I am severely disappointed with this hotel for several reasons. On their website they announce themselves as a five star hotel. They are a three star hotel at best. The staff are all very polite, I’ll give them that. But the room that was assigned to me smelled of sewer and the refrigeration did not work. It made my stay very unpleasant. I talked to the front desk about the issue and they sent a maintenance technician. All he did was throw drain cleaner in the sink and shower to mask the smell. He said he would fix the A/C the next day but he never did. The breakfast is also sub par. It just smells good but has no taste. The expense is not worth it. Overall I would not recommend this hotel. Find a better place for the same price.

Prime location in reforma but small rooms, small bed for 2 persons. Quite quiet for the location that is very central! 5m to Monument to the Revolution walking, 15m to Bellas Artes and main street. 20m walk to Roma Norte/Condesa.

Do not booked this property you will find yourself out of rooms when you arrive to Mexico City they go ahead an rebook the rooms to higher prices.  When they already charged your card and they will cancel your room without any compassion.  Poor service unbelievable that they are in business.  You will find yourself stranded in a big City.  And trying to book rooms that night that you arrive was a nightmare.  Not to say that the receptionist from the hotel was rude.

Do not stay here, there are better options. The WIFI is likely compromised and it will steal your information. The rooms are not sound proof and you can hear everything in the hallways. The gym is absurdly small. The staff is not fluent in English although it's listed as a 5 star hotel.
