Waited 45 min for a table but the bar area was cool and they can transfer your drink order to the table so you don’t have to close out. Food was good but it came out cold. We ordered the cheese and it was pretty hardened and gross lol we sent it back to get heat up and they forgot about it. The bizancio a caballo was also congealed. I don’t think there’s anything worse than cold melted cheese.

I appreciated how it wasn’t that geared toward tourists though. There was also a lot of variety on the menu. I got a meatball taco that was stuffed with an egg. Quite interesting.

However, they ran out of three of the fish taco options so my pescatarian friend had to order a mushroom taco lol.

They also didn’t give our table any accompaniments like salsa so I guess you have to ask for that?

The cazuela was great. I forgot which one we got but it’s the second pic. Meat was super tender and flavorful that was the best and most redeeming part of dinner. Honestly this is the only reason this was a 4 star review and not a 3 star review.

Also, the sangria is AWFUL do not get it. I don’t even know how to describe how bad it was but none of us liked it.

It was a bit hard to find. Maybe I’m a tourist and can’t follow the directions properly, but don’t forget to go upstairs. we actually end up going to the place downstairs only when we started ordering we realized that this is not the same place. we had a quick drink and then moved upstairs and then we had food and more drinks. Their cocktails were really good and the food was really tasty. The interior is very beautiful and you also get nice views if you are able to find a seat at the window. The vegetarian options are clearly marked on the menu with the leaves. They also have vegan options.

Don’t believe the hype. The atmosphere is better than the food and service. I would recommend going somewhere else to get better value and food. Portions were small (particularly the guac). Service was slow and some requests (eg. for more water or salsa) went ignored. Tacos were good, but should be better for their price. Go if you just want to vibe in a cool atmosphere - for food/drinks, you can find better.

Soooo tastey.
Our Highlights: the Tuna cheviche with mango- tasteful and refreshing thanks to the mango. The wild boar was amazing as well but a bit heavier.

I had this restaurant on my list for a long time and finally I tried it. I went on a Sunday without a reservation and was lucky to find a free table. They have Mexican dishes and drinks/cocktails. Their tacos and not the common ones, they have different options and all the ones I tried I really like, I tried with chile poblano, with albóndigas, pulpo al pastor, jamaica, etc. their cocktails were good too, I had one with Jamaica and Mezcal. I highly recommend this place
