The BEST Taco in Mexico City! It is A-MUST!
Try their mixed meat, tongue, brisket, asada, everything is amazing there! They had live music when we went there in the weekend. Their service was fast and good! Don’t expect a luxury experience! It is a street taco experience with seating available and service.

Amazing tacos and quick service make this place the real deal. Anthony Bourdain's visit is just the cherry on top. The beer I ordered was served freezing cold, along with amazing tacos and quesadillas. Strongly recommended!

This place deserves the fame and attention it’s gotten, and its expansion with a dining area has made it a tourist attraction without losing the appeal of the original. There are plenty of reviews that discuss the food, so as a tourist who has been here BEFORE the expansion, let me share different thoughts.

The biggest difference is that sitting down and eating is different from the experience of standing on the street, sharing buckets of salsa with other locals, and chowing down. Tacos are meant to be eaten hot, steaming right out of the broth, and while I LOVE the waitstaff, the extra time it takes to deliver the food just means something’s missing. Sometimes your tacos just take forever to arrive; it might even be a bit cold.

You can’t even order direct from the window anymore, which is a real shame.

Otherwise this is a very affordable place that could definitely charge a lot more given their star power. It’s still no frills, and the service is brisk but efficient. They have a few folks that speak a bit of English but attempting to understand Spanish will get you further. Orders of 3 of the same flavour get a minor discount. They’ve got to be the same flavour, ordered at the same time though!

The tacos were so good. My wife and I loved this place. We had the marinated pork, grilled and breaded chicken and chorizo tacos which were amazing. The salsa verde on the side made the tacos even better. The food was super fresh. My wife had a 0.5L jug of horchata and said that it was fantastic. Reasonable pricing. We will be visiting this restaurant again!

Taco love!  I had some old favorites and tried two new ones, which turned out to be best... the cheek (cachete) and the tongue (lengua). Small tacos, but cheap, so order a lot... you'll be glad you did.  They have a walk-up for to-go orders, and also a dining room with table service.
