Sartoria was DELICIOUS! Probably the best dinner we had in Mexico City. The service was prompt and inviting, the food was fantastic, and the ambiance was great. The decor is very nice as well. The only weird part is the bathroom situation, and when you are done, you are basically washing your hands next to a table in front of the whole restaurant. I feel as though they could have extended a partition on that wall a little bit for more privacy. Overall a fantastic experience!

Food is generally delicious.  Their interpretation of the Italian dishes they serve don’t seem to make sense though.  For example, the Panzanella on the menu is more of a tomato salad with pesto.  And the ravioli is one humongous ravioli with a hat like brim.  Cuttting and eating it is a bit messy.

Also, the service can be fast at times but careless at the same time.  The sparkling wine we ordered didn’t come out with the dish, so the dish was cooled down by the time the wine came.  And the sparkling wine was like warm appearing to have sit out for a while before the pour.

Really good price point so worth a try to see if you end up having a good experience overall.

We had a fantastic lunch at Sartoria. The truffle pasta in particular was delicious as were the drinks. Nice ambience and friendly service. A little expensive but still highly recommend

Good: Amazing menu. There were many things we were eager to try. Hard part was deciding which dishes. Everything we ordered was delicious, well seasoned and portioned. The pasta is fresh and made in house—it shows.

Not so good: Service could be better. Actually shockingly bad for a place with a Michelin nod. Server rushed us through every course. Never checked in to see how things were. Literally would drop plates off like a drive by. Most shockingly we mentioned it to someone who appeared to be a manager—he was very cold and unreceptive to the feedback. (It was mentioned after we paid so we weren’t looking for anything btw except true hospitality) A real shame as I was hosting an out of town guest and this was her last CDMX restaurant experience.

The atmosphere is not too good if you want to talk in the table, the place is very noisy and the tables are super close. The service is good and the staff is friendly. The food is delicious, apetizers have a very good vegetarian options. Salads are a must and funghi risotto. The wine list has a good variety and they have also cocktails.
