This place is truly a hidden gem that exemplifies the charm of Mexico City. Founded by a young gallerist and collector, this quaint gallery show cases some of the best works LATAM has to offer. Unpretentious, open floor plan with laid back vibes, adhesivo contemporary truly encapsulates an inclusive, light hearted art viewing experience. I am not a top-of-the-line art  collector, and I felt extremely welcome here. (Don't get me wrong top of the line art collectors would feel extremely welcome as well!)The gallerist is extremely knowledgeable about art, and has been an emerging figure in the the art world for many years. I recommend grabbing a Guava Babka and matcha latte next door at the cafe, and then going in to see some great art. I was there to see the works on display from artist Deborah Brown I was struck at how impressive her paintings are, and immersed in her works I was. I can't wait to return for whoever is next!

I've been to a lot of galleries in Mexico and this is by far my favorite one. It fully encapsulates the personality of the city in a way I could never describe. It's only a short walk from Condesa, Roma Norte, and Chapultepec Park. So, if you'd like to venture out and see Mexico City's next up and coming neighborhood, adhesivo contemporary is definitely worth the trip!

Stunning gallery in one of the coolest and most walkable neighborhoods in CDMX. Edith the owner is an extraordinary person worth having a coffee / chat for her to tell you about her story and artists in residence! She’ll also give you the best hidden gem foodie recommendations. Don’t miss it!
