The canals were the highlight of our trip! I would recomen to Bring a cooler, beer and speaker. If not you can rent a cooler and speaker.

There is boats that float near you that will sell beer, tequila and pulque. There is also food vendors and an assortment of music like mariachi.

I even got to hold a real hawk while I was hot there

Do your research before going on these Canales boat rides. This one ripped me off they charged  way too much but didn't realize until afterward. But other than that, it was an awesome ride.

These are beautiful canals with gorgeous colourful boats that are propelled by a person with a punt. Gently pushing you along while you enjoy the serenity and listen to the music of the occasional Mexican band who will play for you.
