Spectacular hotel and great location.  Perfect if you're looking for a boutique.  Feels luxurious and comfortable at the same time.  Staff is extraordinarily attentive but not pushy.  The breakfast is well prepared and it felt like a home away from home.  Highly recommend.

Made reservation in August. Received 3 confirmations from hotel and a welcome letter two days before our arrival.
Showed up for reservation  and were informed we cancelled reservation
In September and there were no available rooms. Showed them confirmations emails they had sent, they said they booked a large group in January and they couldn’t do anything. No help, no apology no nothing! We had to book another hotel at three times the price. They did the same thing to our co- travelers. The Brick refused to honor three reservations on the date of arrival for six travelers who had made the reservations 5 months in advance.
Do not patronize this hotel.

Room was a delight but the bathroom is tiny!!

Food was exquisite - especially the cochiniti ravioli which was a spectacular dish.

And all delivered with great service and a smile from Ariel and Edwin!  The staff can’t do enough for you.

For context, 37(f) here with husband for a few days as first time visitors. We absolutely adored the staff who were so polite and helpful, the rooms were great, we really enjoyed the upscale boutique feel of the hotel while still enjoying incredible service and food at the restaurant and dining spaces. The neighbourhood is perfect to stay in as there are endless amazing restaurants, little shops and beautiful parks to stroll through. We debated 4 seasons but so glad we stayed here at Brick for a more personalized experience and to be in a very cool little neighbourhood.

We stumbled upon this place while walking in the neighborhood. They claim to have the best Chilaquiles in town and did not disappoint. Their Chilaquiles and Mole enchiladas were amazing. We came back two days in a row. Service was phenomenal. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area.
