Phenomenal Tacos! a Must visit, but check the opening times carefully. we particularly recommend the Barbacoa, of course, and also the chicharron en salsa verde, chile lampreado relleno de queso (absolutely unbelievable!), and picadillo de ribeye - all with maiz tortilla (you can also choose harina). We also had the pelangocha with harina tortilla as recommended and it was excellent. Friendly and fast service, the waiter was always nearby to clear away and bring more dishes. The light lager in a can Carta Blanca is very nice and pairs well with the tacos. Fresh tasting salsas and plenty of accompaniments. Gonzalitos is on a nice street for sitting outside and people watching. Throughly recommend!

The barbacoa are phenomenal. Super juicy and fresh. Costillitas were tasty too. Loved the pirata. Perfectly cooked, tender, juicy. The crispy cheese and fresh avocado was amazing. The service is great. Amazing place.

4.5⭐️ I found this place walking towards another restaurant. The place smelled so good we went back 😂 we tried different tacos: barbacoa de res, asado de puerco, piratita, pelangocha de desherbada de costilla and pelangocha de barbacoa de res. All of them were really tasty!

Take notes ‘cause this place is only open on Saturday & Sundays! Highly recommended!

I really want to love this place and many do. Great hole in the wall spot for some northern Mexico tacos (for sure recommend), but not fantastic.

If you’re looking for a solid taco on the street - go. But don’t expect the best tacos in the city.
