My fiancée and I stayed in the oceanfront cliffside studio in mid January. Please do yourself a favor and visit this place. I would say just for how beautiful the room and the view is (It was whale season and we didn’t even need to be on a boat to experience the magic up close). But, definitely visit for the entire experience. The food, the drinks, the beach, and the pool(s) were superb.

I’m also big on personalization and let me tell you, they did not miss on making us feel special the entire vacation. We got engaged here and every detail was perfect. This place holds a very special place in our hearts. Thank you ❤️

The staff here are attentive, kind, and very responsive. Everyone was incredibly accommodating of our toddler and the resort was even running a promotion when we visited for free children’s meals. The spa is amazing. The food and cocktails are good (although probably the only weak point of the overall experience). There was a sea turtle release that was incredible. The beach is beautiful and easily accessible from the hotel. The pools are very nice (one is adults only, the other two are family friendly). We wanted to check out Sayulita so the staff set up a short day trip for us. We forgot our toddler’s hat on a pool chair and it was brought to our room. I could go on and on but the bottom line is that this place is worth the (admittedly hefty) price tag. Highly recommended.

This review accounts for four of five nights that met my expectation.

I made a reservation at the recommendation of my trusted travel agent.

I initially reserved four nights. After reading the list of offered activities, i decided to add an extra night. The call to request the change was easy.

I must also say my initial reservation was for October and made in less than the cancellation period. When i called to make a change due to bad weather, they were very kind and understanding.

Instructions to meet the driver/airport team were easy. Finding the driver upon arrival was easy.

Driving into the resort was very beautiful. After two days, i decided to stay longer.

I felt very joyful at the sight of the team that welcomed me.

The beach was clean and peaceful. I was impressed by the staff working together very well.

The coffee delivered daily was good.

My meals were overall delicious. I have an allergy to fish/seafood. I ate fish daily without issue or reaction. Speaks to the quality.

The managers were responsive to communication.

The staff were kind, diligent and always smiling and eager to help.

Internet connectivity was good.

Lot of activities to engage in.

My private pool was wonderful.

While i traveled alone, i never felt alone or lonely. I felt safe walking at night.

The decor is my style. The tiles in the bathroom won my heart.

The bed is excellent. The Mattress is just right

Lighting and temperature control are sufficient.

I had one day of mishaps that were addressed by the managers.

Perfection.  Everything about this resort is amazing!  Room (cliffside king) was beautiful, large, comfortable and super functional.  Service was attentive, friendly and got the job done very efficiently in every location.  The beach is pristine, huge and private.  I only had three meals on property but all three were superb - fresh, flavorful and delicious.  Gym is large, clean and has a ton of equipment.  The spa is a must visit.  The common area and treatment rooms are flawless.  The actual treatment, a deep tissue massage,  was life changing - Priscilla is AMAZING.

One thing to note.  Their gift shop is wayyyyyy overpriced on basic items.  $42 for a bottle of $17 Sunbum sunscreen, etc.  I understand and expect the mark up at a resort like this but everything in there is 2-3x of what you would pay elsewhere so it reads very obnoxious.

Resort is exceptional in just about every way!  Beautifully-appointed, spacious rooms, lovely pools, gorgeous white-sand beach, nice fitness center and 2 exceptional restaurants with possibly the best food I've had at any Mexican resort.  The stars of the experience at Susurros are the employees, who magically balance impeccable, anticipatory service with the casual warmth of an old friend.  My only criticism is if the spa, which is the one aspect of the resort that doesn't feel particularly special (but this could be fixed with some easy tweaks).  All in all, after a 3 night stay, Susurros might be my favorite overall resort experience in all of Mexico (right up with One & Only Palmilla, though I prefer Punta Mita area to Cabo). Please go and enjoy!!
