I recently stayed at Comfort Inn Aeropuerto in Cancun and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The customer service was terrible, the worst I've encountered at a hotel. At check, I told the gentleman with the glass that I had been trying to call them for the past 4 days to book a room and confirm the free airport shuttle, but he so was so unhelpful and rude. When I explained the situation and showed him my phone records, he insisted that their phone worked fine and are always answered -- obviously, not. He kept asking who I spoke to, despite my telling him I didn't know but called over 30 times over multiple days with the help of my hotel staff who researched their alternative numbers online as well. He didn't apologize or seem at all concerned that their contact information was outdated despite my showing him my email confirmation with the hotel info, their Google page, and even chatGPT which all had the 'incorrect number.' The hotel itself looked rundown and almost shut down from outside when I arrived on a dark, rainy night. Oddly enough, the room and lobby areas were immaculately clean though I had no hot water in my shower. I was too tired to address it with the man again so just let it be. I'd already witnessed his smugly address another guest who's fan remote wasn't working so I had no interest in putting myself thru another ordeal with him. I will say I appreciated the breakfast buffet, which was managed well by a friendly staff person. The food options, including tasty mocha coffee, were good -- cereal and a few tasty hot items. Despite these positives, the slow Wi-Fi and overall poor customer service left a very bad impression. I'm glad I only paid less than $60 for this stay, as I definitely would have had even stronger opinions at a higher price given the service and overall experience. Last pointer, the shuttle only goes out at 2 hours intervals and reviews say it can be late. I wasn't willing to risk an extra 2 hours at the airport or being late so ended up getting an Uber which by the way tried to charge me $40 instead of $8 after dropping me off. Thank goodness I caught it and contested it! Good luck friends!

I stayed here after landing very late into Cancun and decided to make the journey over to my resort the next day. The short stay was good for one night (affordable, good air conditioning, complimentary continental breakfast and bottled water in the room), but there's not much around the hotel area and the staff isn't very friendly. Also, the complimentary airport shuttle was INCREDIBLY slow. Despite making a reservation, we spent over 45 minutes waiting for our shuttle and even after calling the hotel twice, the front desk kept insisting that it was coming. Note that the hotel only provides complimentary shuttle one-way from the airport to the hotel (by reservation only), but they don't provide it from the hotel to the airport.

I stayed here one night because I had an early flight, probably the reason lots of people stay. It had pros and cons. On the good side, it's close to the airport, super-clean, and has a cool rooftop bar. We had time to kill and it was fun to sit up there and see the view of Cancun. The margarita I ordered was great and my friend's hamburger was huge and tasty, she said. The hotel staff was very helpful in printing boarding passes for our flight and getting a taxi early the next morning. So there are lots of good reasons to stay here. On the negative side, the water in the shower was only lukewarm, the room air-conditioner leaked a bit of water on the floor, and it was very noisy because a man was talking loudly in the hall and the hard floors reflected all the sound. There are no carpets. One of our rooms had good internet but one had no internet. I would probably stay here again - the price seemed reasonable.

No TV. No shuttle service. No notice of the changes before you arrive in a shuttle you had to pay for. No refunds. No hospitality. I'm writing this as the bugs eat me as I lay in their bed and staring at the wall. I'm going somewhere else. Morning edit: No hot water, Very low water pressure in the shower, and my toilet doesn't work.

BED BUGS!!!! RUN SOMEWHERE ELSE ASAP!!! This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at! I would give it a negative 10 if I could! My friend booked it because we got in late to Cancun. This place was terrible! The customer service was awful. I asked to talk to a manager and the front desk attendant told me to call the main hotel number. Which he himself picks up. In the morning we even saw a cockroach in the bathroom. Save yourself a headache and from being eaten alive and go somewhere else!!!

Cheap isn't good. This hotel has NO heat and the front desk acts like it's perfectly fine. I'm guessing room 314 is the room they put everyone in. You get 1 Key even if it's multiple people on the reservation. No one cares it's just a big situation of trash if you ask me Choice I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED

Cannot beat the price for the room. But, it is quite a ways from the tourists areas. $300 pesos (approx $25us) taxi ride to La Isla Shopping Center. Complimentary breakfast consists of fruit, bread and sliced meat. Because we stayed here one night to wait for others in our party to arrive in Cancun, it was not a big deal. Nearby restaurants consist of a Subway and Burger King.

DO NOT BOOK! No hot water. When we checked in the lady said the recent hurricane caused the hot water to go out. But reading the reviews, It looks like the hot water has been out for months! So she lied to us as we checked in. We asked why couldn't they advise us prior to arriving after we paid a taxi. She said they were not able to do that. So we had no choice but to check in because it was 9pm at night already. She didn't know what to do and we are tourists so we know less than her. We had no choice. Good thing we are only here one night. We only chose this hotel because it was closest to the airport and thats the only good thing about this hotel.

I reserved this hotel for 1 night since it was fairly close to the airport and I needed to leave early the following day. Upon check in the clerk was nowhere to be found, and not only did he not activate the room key but the room that he gave me was not ready. I tried calling the front desk 4 times from the room (#314) to have them see the condition it was given to me. Nobody answered so I walked back to the front desk and asked for a new room. This time they gave me a room on the 2nd flood (#201). Again the room key was not activated and when I went to see the clerk again I had to wait 5 minutes.! And the rooftop bar was out of service. Never again will I be staying in this hotel or any of their branches.

I had a nice stay. We were catching an early morning flight and this hotel fit the bill perfectly. I wasn't able to try the continental breakfast b/c of our early morning flight. Convenient location. Close to rental cars and airport. Appreciated having parking at the hotel and the bar / hot tub atop the building seemed nice enough. Good wifi.
