•	Friendly Staff: The staff was consistently warm and welcoming, making sure we felt taken care of throughout our stay.
•	Heated Pools: A big plus was the heated pools, which made swimming and relaxing comfortable even when the weather cooled down.

Cons:
•	Dated Facilities: The hotel feels a bit dated and could use some renovations to modernize the rooms and common areas.
•	Entertainment: The shows were just okay – not bad, but nothing particularly memorable.
•	Noise Level: While the pool parties were fun and energetic, the noise carried into the rooms, which made it hard to relax if you were looking for peace and quiet.

This was my 6th time staying at this property. The highlight is the staff, who are very friendly and make you feel like they genuinely want you to have a great experience. I want to give a shout out to Rosy in the spa who went above and beyond to make the water journey experience very calming and enjoyable, and never made me feel rushed. The food at Spice is always very good. The gym is my favorite here - always completely clean and very spacious with excellent equipment. Love relaxing at the infinity pool deck after a workout.

I have had the privilege of visiting numerous all-inclusive resorts around the world, spanning both upscale and budget-friendly options. Regrettably, this experience stands out as the most disappointing of them all.

While the hotel facilities are  pleasing and well-maintained, the service leaves much to be desired. The staff exhibited a level of rudeness that was both surprising and disheartening, and the overall service was consistently poor.

I addressed my concerns with the hotel staff as early as the 2nd day of my stay, hoping for improvement, as well as my friends in other times. However, despite my feedback and even offering generous tips, the lack of service persisted throughout the entirety of my visit.

This was truly a letdown, hence, I would not recommend Hyatt Zilara

My husband and I just stayed 5 days and 4 nights for our anniversary celebration! The service was absolutely amazing! My husband accidentally tripped and fell (at no fault of the hotel) and an employee rushed over to make sure he was okay. The concierge checked up on him later in the day as well. During the night show, we chose to stand over by the side and watch for a bit. Several times employees came over to ask if I wanted them to get me a chair or assist me in anyway at all. Absolutely incredible staff!! The main lobby had an amazing smell and everything was so clean and beautiful. Our concierge checked up on us throughout our stay and we felt like royalty!

One of the only downsides to our stay was that some of the meals were not 100% the best, but it is an all inclusive and not a Michelin star restaurant. Some of our meals were amazing and other left something to be desired or were just cold. It also felt like everything was a sale pitch- we got pressured pretty hard to upgrade our room to a swim up suite and we ended up caving and doing so. This ended up being worth it in the end because the swim up pool was much warmer and more comfortable than the main pool. There was also pressure to purchase things like bottles of alcohol to secure a private table for night shows and we were being sold the spa package and offered discounts over and over.

The housekeeping at this resort was incredible! They clean your room twice and day and do an amazing job. We felt really taken care of.

All in all, out stay was definitely a great time and we will be back after renovations are done!

I disagree with some other reviews.
The entertainment is something to see, watch the toes and wrists of anyone on stage. That's how you know what good entertainment/ a good performer is. (Besides constantly smiling). They performed above what I would consider "a good show" & deserve praise for their dedication to every single dance, whether or not the audience applauded.
If anything, I would strongly state the audience acts like a dead fish lol.
I couldn't get myself past the buffets. The buffets alone are high quality ingredients, prepared properly, have sneeze shields & have sanitary utensils at every station. This is the best buffet experience you can imagine. 10/10
I had stupid questions, I got lost, & I have anxiety that makes me stutter, every employee on every floor was extremely helpful, delighted to help & on Friday maintenance asked if everything worked in the room properly.
They are patient, helpful & happy to help you. Some staff tried their best to help me correctly pronounce Spanish words, they tried lol ❤️
