Mandala Night Club was fun. I went there for New Years. The service was quick as I'm a good tipper and the staff were friendly. The atmosphere was really nice. I like the set up. It's one of the smaller clubs in Cancun but to walk in and out of and you can see outside as there's no wall or front door covering your view. I will have to check out the beach club next time.

A Disappointing and Discriminatory Experience at Mandala Night Club

We visited Mandala Night Club on New Year’s Eve to celebrate what should have been a joyous start to the year, but it turned out to be the worst decision we made.

When we inquired about ticket prices at the entrance, the staff were polite and professional, explaining the options clearly. Since we don’t drink alcohol and avoid pork or ham, we opted for a general pass, as upgrading to a VIP pass would have been unnecessary for us. We wanted to enjoy the DJ music, the New Year celebration, and planned to buy food to complete the experience.

However, once we entered, the experience took a shocking turn. No staff member attended to us despite repeated attempts to order food. We waited for over more than 45 minutes while staff members blatantly prioritized others who arrived later but were purchasing expensive alcohol. The discrimination was undeniable and humiliating.

It felt as though because we chose a general pass and weren’t buying alcohol, we were treated as lesser guests—or worse, judged by color or spending power. Spending $100 for entry only to be ignored and disrespected was infuriating.

If you cannot provide basic service or treat all customers equally, do not sell general access tickets, especially on special occasions like New Year’s Eve. This experience ruined our New Year plans and left us with a bitter memory.

We are seriously considering pursuing this matter for compensation, as this behavior is completely unacceptable. Mandala Night Club needs to address this issue, ensure fair treatment of all guests, and train staff to respect every individual regardless of their spending choices.

A night that should have been celebratory turned into one of the most shameful experiences we’ve ever encountered.

Should have read more reviews before coming here as we wouldn't have bothered if we had. Our waiter Mario was friendly and efficient in serving us, but he was really our only high point. We were a group of 2 girls and 1 guy, the night was sort of strange, people offering coke in the men's restroom, the vibe of the club was uncertain, I.e. I wasn't sure what it was trying to be, i.e., nightclub/hookah lounge/gentleman's club. We paid 60 USD each for the "ticket experience," which came with 10 drinks per ticket. There was confusion over this, and it took 3 people to sort out. Overall, be careful and vigilant when visiting.

I went here last week. The construction of the club is in a such way that you are bound to get a table either sitting or standing. I purchased the general tickets from outside from a guy who was selling it outside the club for $100 cash for two people. It included 5 drinks each. The drinks were fine and I had a hangover since they were using cheap tequila. The vibe is great. However I had to get the standing table and purchased a hookah that was around $80. I have seen better places than this honestly to party. I spent around $250 including tips for 2 people. Just wanted to knock off this from Cancun nightlife list.

This was the worst clubbing experience I have ever had. A waste of your money, we left after 20 minutes. The only options for drinks were simple mixed drinks. For vodka I was only offered pineapple or mango and I received pineapple juice with vodka… My hotel makes better drinks than them. On top of that, my main issue, as I have already drank quite a bit at Senior Frogs, was that it was advertised as a very live club. However, there was more staff present than clubbers. There were MAYBE 12 other people. It was so dead and boring. No one was dancing, let alone dancing. Nothing like the pictures on all of the advertisements. The music was horrible. The music did not consist of ANYTHING the advertised online. If you enjoy sitting at a table in silence and smoking cigarettes or hookah, disregard this review, you will love it. However, those of you who go out to dance and party, this is not the club for you. I am humiliated by the way I have wasted my money. Please tell me someplace I can go to actually dance.
