After a nightmare checking into our hotel this place was exactly what we needed. Beautiful decor, delicious food, and impeccable service by an experienced gentleman that knows his trade. This might be our dinner spot every night for our entire trip

I have been coming to Rolandi's Cancun for over 30 years, and it remains my absolute favorite spot for Italian cuisine in the area! This restaurant consistently delivers an exceptional dining experience that keeps me coming back, year after year.

The food is simply outstanding. From their perfectly baked pizzas to their creamy pastas and fresh salads, every dish is crafted with care and authentic flavors. The quality has remained consistently high over the decades, which is truly impressive.

What I love most about Rolandi's is the unbeatable combination of excellence and value. The portions are generous, the flavors are rich, and the prices are incredibly reasonable. It's rare to find a place that offers this level of quality at such a great price.

The Salmon was amazing, I give the kitchen 5 starts.
However the service was not so well and i feel l it was because i am American and the staff assumed I didn’t speak English and they would never see me again. I have lived in Cancun for 5 years now however it was my first time at this restaurant, sometimes when you try new places as American they will not treat you well, in their minds it’s just another tourist and they’ll  probably never see you again.
When I was seated they’re were several waiters walking by but no one greeted or engaged me. Eventually the manager walked over and took my order then he gave my order slip to a waiter and the waiter brought my drink, He sat it on the table and kept walking( no hello, welcome, or anything). It made me feel like he didn’t want to serve me.  The restaurant was not busy at this time, and there were lots of waiters hanging around not doing anything.
When seated they bring you complimentary bread and salsa. The kitchen only brought me bread, and when i asked why they didn’t bring  the salsa? He said, “i didn’t bring it because it’s spicy”. I told him i like spicy food and he should’ve asked me instead of assuming because im American i don’t like spicy foods.
The kitchen staff brought my food and again it was delicious. By this time i was finished and no one has asked me if I needed anything extra, did I like the food? would I like another drink? it really made me feel even more uncomfortable. Especially when I see the waiter assigned to me speaking to other guests(in Spanish) assuming I didn’t speak Spanish also. Finally i asked for me check and Togo box in Spanish and his eyes got big when i told him I live here, i speak Spanish and the service was horrible. He apologized and said I didn’t know you speak Spanish. I wouldn’t recommend this place for tourists or tourists appearing people based off my experience. Maybe place a Togo order that was you won’t be judged.

I love this restaurant. But I have to tell you about my experience with my waiter. This is not meant as a criticism. But you must know the hilarious details. First, they are very busy. I was lucky to get a table. I was alone and was seated up front. So I can see everyone that walks in. They had groups of 14 and more walking in constantly. They handled them all expertly. When the waiter takes your order he uses an iPad. I ordered the mixed salad and the linguine frute di mare. ( both were delicious). After my salad, an hour had passed. My waiter came to me and asked if I would like desert. My eyes met his and immediately we both knew something was wrong. “But I ordered pasta”, I said. And the waiter went into crisis mode and walked to the kitchen. He came back with more delicious garlic bread and assured me my pasta would be coming soon. Then they brought me linguini with white clam sauce. I would have accepted it but I just had that dish a week ago. So I calmly corrected my friend. He consulted his iPad and read back my order. “Yes, amigo, the linguini fruti di mare”, I replied. And he quickly went back to the kitchen. He returned with a delicious iced tea with lemon and assured me my pasta would arrive soon. No problem. But that left me time to ponder about my salad. It was delicious. But it looked a little crazy. All the vegetables in the salad were made in pasta like strips. Like someone had gotten one of those toys that turn cucumbers into pasta like noodles. I thought maybe that sort of eccentricity is what explained why the waiter used high tech menu ordering system but still managed to get the order wrong. But he was a complete gentleman. And he did provide great service. The pasta was delicious. That marinara sauce was memorable. Then I ordered dessert with a coffee. After my meal I thanked my waiter and the busboy - who witnessed everything and couldn’t contain his laughter at the end. We had a good laugh together as I got up to leave. Ah! Technology!
