Beautiful little paradise “bohemian chic” hidden in the jungle. Service and staff is exceptionally kind and attentive to details. The atmosphere is peaceful, very relaxing and surrounded by well being activities to help you disconnect with the daily life.
Food at the restaurant was delicious, breakfast is fresh with various options.
Rooms are very comfortable and offer everything needed with minimal style.

Nomade Holbox is a stunning hotel with bohemian-style decor that truly immerses you in a serene and stylish atmosphere. The staff is exceptionally friendly and always willing to help, making the overall service experience outstanding.

One of the unique aspects of the hotel is its daily wellness activities, offered twice a day. However, these are quite repetitive, as they mostly consist of yoga or similar sessions—likely in line with the hotel’s philosophy but not very diverse for guests looking for more variety.

The restaurant and beach club are visually spectacular, offering an upscale ambiance. However, prices are steep, with a typical dinner costing at least EUR200–250.

Unfortunately, we experienced four days of bad weather during our stay, which exposed a major downside: the hotel has very few indoor alternatives for entertainment, as everything is designed for outdoor use. This can make the experience quite dull when the weather doesn’t cooperate.

Our accommodation was a beautifully designed tent, which added to the bohemian feel. However, having the shower and toilet outside was inconvenient, especially due to insects and the challenges of bad weather.

Another thing to note is the hotel’s location—it’s on the far side of the island, making transportation a bit more complicated, particularly when the weather is unfavorable.

Overall, while Nomade Holbox is a visually stunning retreat with a relaxing atmosphere, it lacks variety in activities and practical comfort during less-than-perfect weather conditions.

The hotel and beach are stunning, and the restaurant staff are incredibly kind and attentive. I highly recommend the restaurant; the food is delicious.

However, we paid for an upgrade to stay in the oceanfront suite, which is set up as a tent-style room. Unfortunately, we were disappointed. Our tent was located close to the restaurant, which is entirely open with loudspeakers pointed directly toward the tented rooms. As a result, we could hear loud music until past 11 p.m. every night, and in the morning, it started again as early as 7:30 a.m. Despite several requests to reception to lower the volume, this issue was not resolved.

The hotel is supposed to be a place for relaxation and rest, but in this regard, our experience was very disappointing.

Additionally, the bathroom had very little hot water and a low water flow, which further detracted from our stay. For over €800 for two nights, we expected more, especially given that we had booked the highest room category.

We leave with admiration for the beautiful location but disappointment in the room. We do not recommend Room 1.

it started amazing with great food and vibes, but unfortunately our experience was completely tethered by the giant iguana that was encountered by one of our guests. After this we had to check out early and simply requested the hotel for a refund of the remaining nights but weeks into call after call they are unwilling to give to us stating this is normal in an experience in nature. I don’t think this can be expected in a luxury property, we did not go camping in the woods. Ultimately the iguana and frustrating refund experience left a horrible taste in our mouths and would not recommend unless you really want to be at one with giant reptiles

Absolutely beautiful beach front hotel with restaurant on site, beautiful heated pool and tons of included activities!  Menu is a bit limited but everything we ate was fantastic and reasonably priced! Naome was quick to answer all inquiries and help arrange all things we wanted to do. The ocean front rooms are absolutely stunning! At night they lite tiki torches and burn something that creates smoke to help with mosquitos. Only 2 small negative things we encountered was the lighting in the rooms and restaurant are very cute and ambient but not very functional- we had a really hard time seeing our food while eating (Daniella was very kind and would bring extra candles which was helpful!) and tripping over things in our dark room (we just laughed and started using our phone flash light- not a big deal) Also, the beach club next to our room was a bit annoying playing club music pretty late into the night (although I doubt anyone but us noticed since we were at the very end, last room of the property, and when we told front desk at check out they mentioned they could have asked them to keep it down- I didn't even think to ask them! And it's definitely not their fault) I would 10000% stay here again if I ever make it back! Thank you for a lovely experience and for going above and beyond!
