We made a special trip to talk to staff before the evening started so we knew what was up, but when we came back that night they had completely different information: pricing, event, and cover charge. They would only let me in to "check the place out" aka receive the pricing/sales pitch, and not my partner. The place literally had four guests on Mexican Independence Day at 11pm. We had received a ticket for free cover charge from our earlier visit, but they wouldn't honor it unless we would shell out $50 USD/person for open bar. Overall it felt like such a racket that we went next door to Cocomaya, where there was already a party, no cover, and a much better over all vibe.

Very nice place with good music tasty food and amazing view. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the waiter charged us for 8  beers but we only got 4. When we ask him to recalculate, he refused. :-/

Overrated nighclub that operates as a beach club during the day. The drinks are overpriced anytime of the day and a few years ago an employee that worked picking up the beach chairs stole my purse and robbed my camera. Dont ever leave your belongings unnattended in Mexico, sadly there's a 99% will be stolen. No compensation whatsover was offered to me and as they asked me not to report to the police immediately, my case didnt go any further. During a night of special.events,  besides paying 150 usd for the entrance, you can easily be asked to pay additional 500 usd to get table service.

Funny how I showed the free cover to your door people and they had no idea what I was talking about. 6 times in playa and this will be my last time here... Blue Parrott, always trying to nickel and dime people. That should be your new slogan. Not to mention it's clear to anyone who has had alcohol more than once in their life that you people retail premium bottles with wells. But no problem, keep it up and keep the people with real money away who have no problem spending it for proper service.
