The place is casual and not a luxurious spot; it has more of a traditional vibe. The staff are quite standard—nothing extraordinary but nothing lacking either. The food, however, is incredibly delicious; it might be the best taco I’ve ever had. Since it’s cooked over a wood fire, it has a traditional and truly unique flavor. If you’re in Mexico, this is definitely a place you should try. But don’t think of it as a fancy dinner spot—it’s more about the cozy atmosphere and amazing flavors.

Went to this place twice and really enjoyed the food. It is very simple and straightforward and also very flavorful! Loved how you can be served right away and not worry about sitting so long. Good variety in their menu. The staples are always the best.. pastor tacos and sirloin tacos.

This is a little off the main strip in a less busy area. We  wanted to eat here because we saw it on the Michelin Guide list. If you're looking for a fancy outing, this is not it. It's just hands down delicious food. The tacos were fresh and so tasty. Loved my mango margherita too! Definitely a must visit if you are in the Playa Del Carmen area.

We stopped by the first day we were in Playa and came back every single day! The pastor tacos were amazing and the best I've ever had. Very casual and very busy everything we went. It is a must try spot!

Some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. This taqueria has MAGIC, in the food, the service, and the atmosphere.
The TACOS AL PASTOR and SIRLOIN are their specialties. You just gotta try them before anything else. Also the HORCHATA!!

Vi hade "House Plate" och det var bra storlek portion för oss två. Maten kom ganska snabbt. Det måste vara ett populärt ställe eftersom borden fylls ganska snabbt.

Bra mat, roliga vibbar, grymma drinkar och inte dyrt. Detta är en skatt att hitta! Några välsmakande godsaker på el Fogón vi inte kan vänta med att gå tillbaka under vårt nästa besök.
